The room had not not been cleaned well at all. It looked like they swept the floor and took out the trash. The floors were extremely dirty with crumbs and toenails. They moved us to another room that was also dirty. We went back to the original. This is a great location for concerts at Red Rocks but recommend only staying for the night of the concert. We were there for 4 and it was already paid so we stayed.

Super cool place to stay in Golden. I love it for its convenience to hop on the road to get where you need. It’s quiet, comfortable and a fab place to stay when I’m in the area.

Loved the property but the stench of the “scent” in the lobby and ground-floor areas made us want to leave as quickly as possible without breathing. The Mountain West is beautiful and clean. Get rid of the artificial scents!!!

I stayed here with my husband for 3 nights. We loved everything about the hotel, except for the bed & thermostat. I read other reviews about the mattress being uncomfortable but brushed it off as I’m not as picky. This mattress was seriously the worst I’ve ever slept on. You can tell it’s old. It was caved in on both sides and was hard as a rock. Paired with extra firm pillows made for a rough nights sleep. The rest of the hotel, we loved! Very quiet, modern, nice bathroom. We had plenty of hot water for showers. We set the temp to 66 but it never made it that low. It’s like it was programmed to not get lower than 70. Overall, we loved the hotel but won’t be staying there again due to the bed being so uncomfortable. When we go to hotels, a bed is very important and critical in a good nights sleep.

The was beyond welcoming, helpful, and friendly! The restaurants food was absolutely amazing and the service was quick. Comfortable clean room, with access to just about everything within minutes. Creative and unique bar drinks!

Beautiful property with a spacious dining and sitting area, fireplace outdoor space when it's warm. The style is modern but also warm and reflects being next to wonderful outdoor space. Convenient location next to the 70 for skiing, downtown Golden and Red Rocks Ampitheater. Breakfast was delicious and priced well alot of great options you never see at a hotel. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the evening/night manager. Fantastic option when visiting Golden!

Awesome room for the 4 of us, much larger that typical quadruple rooms. The beds are comfy and the design of the space is clearly well thought of. The beer garden must be great in the summer, and the bar/restaurant at the entrance was lively in the winter. Very conveniently located on our way back to Denver from a week of skiing. The hotel is also only a few minutes away from hiking trails at Red Rock, great place for stretch your legs before flying home.

When we walked in the smell was terrible. There was a dry drain causing sewer smell into the lobby. No discount offered we were unable to sit at the restraunt or bar. Our second stay at this hotel. We enjoyed the Mexican dining and thought it to be very reasonably priced. There are several nicely laid out public areas around the hotel. The room was spotless and we thought the bed was extremely comfortable. Red Rocks is in a great location not far from the I70. Definitely appreciated the ample free parking.

This is a beautiful hotel on the outside and even on the inside the rooms are a little rough even though they are updated the guests have chips on the top of them my nightstand hat I have no idea what on it along with curly hairs. Mirrors weren't clean thoroughly neither were floors or surfaces. Very nice and quiet though bed a little hard and lumpy. I've stayed at the one in Westminster and it is wonderful this one's very different don't know exactly why. I don't know everything just seem to be like chipping off paint or something.

Most of the staff is nice. I didn’t get their names, but there is a young gentleman that works the reception area at night, and he was very sweet and nice. We also had to deal with 2 female staffers, one of them was very rude and short, the other one was nice, again I didn’t get their names. The server in the cafeteria was rude, we had breakfast one morning , there were 2 occupied tables. We sat down and waited for about 5-7 minutes, she never came to get our order and we went to ask her if we needed to wait or could order and she said: “I’ll get to you when I can”, again, it was not busy at all, therefore we didn’t eat there again for the rest of our 4 day stay.
