"I loved this property as it was in the heart of the Garifuna culture. Once you get your bearings and just smile and walk the street and beach, you find amazingly friendly people. The room was simple and functional with a large balcony overlooking the street and beach. Drums banged away until 9PM and stopped sharply. "If you are looking for a good size house right on the beach this is it. The house and the beach in front of it were extremely clean. There were four adult men in our group and each of us had a good size bed to sleep in. Also, with three bathrooms and a kitchen we were set up beautifully. I totally would stay here again."

"We LOVED our little apartment. You can be part of the laid back, in town vibe on the front porch or step inside and close the curtains for privacy. On site owner is friendly and very helpful with local info. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or cook for ourselves as desired. Groceries, fruit/veggie stands are easy walking distance, safe parking, and the apartment contains everything necessary. We will definitely return!"

"It was easy to reserve this house in Hopkins in mid-July and we drove straight to it thanks to thorough directions from the house manager because there is no house number. The house manager lives nearby and she communicated regularly and was very accessible. Although the roof has a great view of the town of Hopkins, there is no roof awning or umbrella to protect one from the sun so it is a sun bathing experience!"

"Gorgeous location right on the beach. Cabana was very clean and tidy. Zero issues with critters of any kind. We visited the week of some of the hottest temps on record (last week of March) and were nervous about the lack of AC. The ocean breezes and ceiling fans worked great for keeping us cool.
