I like the breakfast and the easy access. I really didn't like the room as i booked room for 4 and the sofa bed was not ready. When asked front desk they only provide a light blanket - not the usual sofa bedding Quality Inn and other hotels have provided before for sofa. Very disappointing we had only one acceptable bed to sleep.

The desk staff when we checked in was so friendly and knowledgeable. Easy check in. Night staff was very helpful when our room microwave would not work. She took it herself and microbes our snack for us! Air conditioning worked awesome and the bed was very comfortable. Very clean and spacious room.

Our family trip to Dallas was ruined by a distressing experience at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Grand Prairie South. We booked our stay from April 5 to April 9, 2024, hoping for a comfortable and hassle-free vacation. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met due to a shocking mishap by the hotel management. We had a smooth check-in on April 5th and were initially pleased with the facility. However, upon returning from a day trip on April 8th, we were blindsided by the fact that our room had been checked out by the management. This inexplicable action left us stranded at midnight without a place to stay. The hotel staff, including the receptionist Lex and manager Silvia, were unhelpful and dismissive. They insisted that we had initiated the checkout, a claim that was completely unfounded and untrue. To make matters worse, another family who traveled with us encountered the same baffling situation. They, too, found themselves without accommodations in the middle of the night. The ordeal was particularly tough on the children, who were tired and confused by the sudden upheaval. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the hotel staff provided no viable solutions, leaving us to scramble for alternative accommodations at an ungodly hour. The lack of empathy and accountability from the hotel management was deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Grand Prairie South to anyone, especially families.

There was a young lady named Ana who was rude to me and had the worst attitude she I asked her a question. She was disrespectful and combative.. I’m in the service industry been a General Manager at a restaurant for 18 years I would never accept that kind of behavior from any of my staff. I have been staying there almost weekly for the past year. I was disappointed and want even going to anything because all my other visits there have been great but this one left a bad taste in my mouth. I would like to come back but seriously reconsidering taking my business to the courtyard Marriott.

They left our family with kids stranded in the middle of the night because they had given our rooms to someone else while we were still starting with them! We reserved from April 5th through 9th. We checked in on the 5th. We drove to see the solar eclipse on the 7th and came back on 8th. Then we found out they had checked us out and our rooms were given to someone else. We did not check out on the 7th and still had door cards with us. They kept lying that we came and checked out at the front desk, which they didn't have any proof to show At midnight, after driving 500mi back from AR, we didn't have our room and with 4 young kids our two families were left with no option or help from them Not even a single apology! When we showed our reservation they knew about the mistake on their part but kept on changing the story to claim we checked out. Utterly disappointed and will not recommend this place for anyone

Upon arrival Told my reservation had been cancelled by manager? I was receiving daily messages from Expedia that I had an active reservation? Never heard from the hotel of a problem until our arrival? Also notice of wearing face masks and sack lunch? Was not true????? Online stated breakfast started serving 6:00 not true not until 7:00 and not sacks for early departure Whole experience disappointing!

Our breakfast hours are 6am-9am Mon -Fri 7am -10am Sat/ Sun Our full hot breakfast is back vs the sack breakfast with a muffin & apple. The “night manager” was rude and unwilling to help ourselves or the other guest who had problems with the stay. The manager in the morning who appeared to be the main manager appeared irritated that we wanted to voice our frustrations. The pool hours are incorrect on Expedia as well and don’t be surprised if they close it before the closure time because the “night manager” doesn’t have access or know how to close the pool.

I’ve stayed at a few hotel in the DFW area and I must start with the La Quinta Inn staff. One word, flawless. Amazing customer service from greeting to assistance w/ any necessity needs. Breakfast was always served fresh and never ran out, no matter what day of the week it is. Gym area was tidy and clean; shoutout to those who also used the gym and actually cleaned behind themselves. The experience was overall amazing and I will keep them 1st on my hotel trips back to the area.
