Enjoy the late afternoons on the back deck listening to the Yahoola below you. 3 bedrooms upstairs have double size beds and one twin in the room with bunkbeds. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room that sleeps 2. A total of 11 people could sleep comfortably. There are many community trails to find and explore or take one that has been well traveled down to the Yahoola Creek. Absolutely breathtaking and relaxing place you'll find that doesn't have a cost. Brooke and Rainbow trout are known to hit when the time is right. Bring a fishing license and try your hand at fly fishing down at the creek/stream. Of course you'll need to bring fishing gear with you if you choose to do this activity. As mentioned above there is acres and acres of National Forrest to explore, hike, and relieve all your stress away. Please make sure to not leave any litter on the trails.

Dahlonega Wedding
We visited the area for a family wedding at R Ranch and this beautiful home was very convenient to the venue (just 6 minutes drive). The home is very comfortable and beautifully decorated, apart from bringing your belongings and food, it had everything that you need for your stay! I highly recommend this home and will definitely plan a future trip to explore the area more.

Restful retreat near Dahlonega
We had a fabulous girls' weekend in Dahlonega! The property was everything as advertised - well appointed kitchen (we cooked both nights), a super quiet retreat with plenty of space to enjoy both inside and out. The gas fireplace inside was perfect for taking the chill off and the hikes from the house were just what we needed! Easy driving to multiple wineries (loved brunch at Montaluce!) and downtown Dahlonega for an afternoon of shopping. The owner was incredibly responsive on questions and we loved our visit. Will be back!

Girlfriends Getaway
This was just the right home for our annual high school foursome getaway. (We are currently in our 70’s and have been doing this roughly 20 years.) There was a bedroom for each of us, plenty of seating in the living room where we gathered to catch up on everyone’s news. The home was nicely furnished and quite clean. Fresh flowers greeted us upon arrival. Well stocked kitchen. Only suggestion…your home is so nice-it deserves 2-ply bath tissue!

Fantastic!
This home was perfect for us! My son, who lives in Dahlonega, got married last week. We made so many memories while staying here. The location was perfect. We were able to host small gatherings of family & friends. We sat in the living room talking, laughing & reminiscing for hours on multiple occasions. This home was very clean! The front & back porch were very nice. Bedrooms are spacious. Michael, the owner, was very easy to work with and very kind. I had one of the best weeks of my life and this home helped make that happen! I highly recommend!

Beautiful, clean, and homey cabin down a windy country road. Better looking in person than the pictures show, honestly. The girls and I loved our super convenient home-base. Driver for the wine tour has no issues getting to us and we were super close to all the trails we were interested in. Additionally, the on-site trail down to the mini waterfall was awesome. We had a great time— thanks!!

House in the woods
The house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The only downfall was we thought there would be views of the mountains but you looked out and saw the woods which is fine. If you want privacy, we saw lots of deer running around little squirrels and birds everywhere. It was very peaceful, but I just wished there was a better view of the mountains .overall it was very nice

Heaven in Dahlonega
This house is just beautiful. Looks like it’s just recently been built. Big bedrooms throughout, big kitchen and family room. Kitchen is supplied with every single thing you have at your own home. Back deck with lots of seating and is just heavenly. Beds were super comfy. Huge bathrooms. Owner made himself available at any time needed. Just loved this place! Highly recommend!

Perfect Setting
Mountain Laurel Hideaway was the perfect location and setting for our vacation. The beautiful home is nestled in a wooded area so that you have privacy but yet you are within a 10 minute drive of shopping and downtown Dahlonega. The property is well-maintained, clean, and with great amenities including a fully-stocked kitchen, outdoor fire pit, and deck with great seating options. The sound of the nearby creek adds to the overall experience. The host is also very responsive. We will definitely be back.

A True 5 Star Experience
The house is lovely in a beautiful setting. Deer walked past our front porch and the creek/waterfall just down the hill is a delight. The bedrooms are a nice size so there is room to place your luggage. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very nice. We stayed during Christmas and the record breaking 2022 cold spell. We were plenty warm and enjoyed the fireplace. A short drive to Delhonega and some great wineries. Very convenient to get to area scenic views. Our host Michael was very responsive and a great host.

Wonderful Property!
This house was a great size, extremely clean and smelled like it was either new or recently remodeled (which was a good thing as far as we were concerned). The location was perfect in relation to the town of Dahlonega and several wineries but remote enough that it was very private. Checking in and out was as easy as I've ever seen it in a rental property. Beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with all utensils and kitchens supplies. I highly recommend this property. My only comment for people with mobility issues is there are quite a few stairs up to the front door and to the bedrooms (except for the master). Probably not a problem for most people but we are all over 58 years old and had a little issue getting heavy luggage up and down stairs so thought I should mention. However, it had no negative impact on the great time we had or our enjoyment of this property.

The house was beautiful and well stocked with kitchen utensils, plates, cups and pans. Lots of room in the bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I would change it the amount of towels and wash clothes. Maybe add a couple more. Very nice and will look at staying there again.

Great location, very clean, but front and back patios do have cameras
Great place. Great location. Very clean. But back patio is where we spent most of our time and it was very uncomfortable with the camera looking over shoulder, especially when you look up and see the red or blue light on indication they were potentially just watching us. I was okay with the front entrance having the camera but if you stay here be ready for the camera on the back patio. Loved everything about the place except the camera. If looking for privacy like myself and my family I do NOT recommend.
