"Nice big room in a central location. Marco is very friendly too. There was some confusion about check-out time which needs to be updated online. My booking said check-out time was noon, so we went out in the morning and came back to find the room had been unlocked, our possessions moved and staff turning down the room for the next guests. Apparently check out was at 10:30am, but this was never communicated to us. Marco and staff were nice about it though. "

"The B&B is conveniently located, with lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to Lake Como. The room was clean and comfortable. Terrance and kitchen were shared with other guests. The terrace was a nice place to sit and play games as a family. Breakfast was generous and staff were very friendly. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Spina Verdi. The apartment was immaculate. Andrea was an excellent host and made us amazing breakfasts each day. "The owner, Maurizio, was very friendly and went out of his way to tell us all about Como and what to do with our limited time there. We had a family room, which turned out to be 2 separate bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. There was a bathroom accessible from the hallway, but it was private for our family. "Very nicely located property. 5-8 minutes to the water. Less than 1 km to train. Very competitive price. Only complaints, as they may be important to some renters. 4th floor walkup is 80 stairs to unit. Could be too much for some. Would've thought there would be instant coffee. Some would want tea. It's not there. Otherwise a great stay. All in all, these are minor issues unless they are deal breakers for you. They weren't for us"
