We had a quick, but nice stay in Colorado Springs. We wanted a home near the Garden of the Gods and this home was a perfect fit for us. Comfortable furnishings, lovely decor and all around pleasant stay. We were walking distance to Garden of the Gods. The weather—well, it’s Colorado, so you never know what you’re going to get. April snow! We still got in a hike. Our host was responsive and welcoming.

Long weekend stay
Had a wonderful stay. The house was great and the perfect location for everything we wanted to do while in town. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra linens, pillows, and towels. We had a blast!

Nice property but can’t lock door to garage
Great location since it’s close to Garden of the Gods, nice house, but no way to lock back door from house to garage. Owners are aware and prefer it that way for some reason, claimed they didn’t have a key for the door. Also, no window coverings on street level bonus room. If you’re security minded, the lack of a lock on back door is a deal breaker. Also, you must climb stairs to get to main living area, problem for elderly family members. Maybe that’s obvious in pictures but I didn’t realize until I got there.

Perfect location
We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean, ample supplies and being able to walk out to the pathway into Garden of the Gods was just superb. Highly recommend a stay at this property.

Great house, great location!
I can't emphasize enough how great this house was and the host was incredible! This house is a sidewalk away from Garden of the Gods and great walking and hiking trails. It is convenient to shopping, restaurants, Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. There is plenty of room and had everything we needed, plus some, for a great stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful, too! We hope to stay there again!

This “home” was just perfect. Exceptionally clean, felt like home, everything you needed. Great location easy to go any direction to explore. Loved seeing wildlife out the back, able to walk to Garden of the Gods. Communication with home owner was very easy. 5 star ⭐️ in our book.

Excellent Location, great house
Spent our Thanksgiving with family. House is great with plenty of space. Cannot beat the location. We hiked every day at Garden of the Gods and the ranch next door. Close to Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, and plenty of things to do.

Beautiful property- plenty of room for 7 of us (5 were single). Saw wildlife in yard every day. Only downside- with 5 women getting dressed for a wedding, we realized only one bedroom had a mirror. Other than that, house in best neighborhood by Garden of the Gods. Highly recommend.

Amazing location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing. Just walk out the door and into the Garden of the Gods. Every activity we went to was within a 15 minute drive, and the house has plenty of room for us all to spread out.

Awesome stay in Colorado Springs
Firstly, the location cannot be beat. As promised you can easily walk into the Garden of the Gods from the house and avoid the traffic hassles. In addition, it is really close to the shops and restaurants of the Old Colorado City district, and close to Manitou Springs and all of its attractions. The house itself is an older home that has been tastefully renovated and decorated and was immaculately clean. It served our family well.

Family vacay
We had a family vacation to celebrate some important dates. This location worked great for our group. We liked the proximity to the Garden of the Gods. We had 2 seniors, some little kids, and adults, so it was nice to have the option for some people to stay home and nap and for others to walk into the park. There is also a historical farm close by that my nephew like to walk around. We did a lot of cooking while at the home and we were able to find everything we needed to cook. We would stay here again!

House was exceptionally clean, very updated, all accommodations were perfect for our party of 8 adults. A bit farther from USAFA than I anticipated, but close to downtown and other activities which was a plus. Would strongly recommend, and will likely be back.

Nice stay close to park & Garden of the Gods
This house is ideally located for hiking to Garden of the Gods and next to a historic park area with green space, old buildings, pond, chickens, etc. We loved the easy access to the outdoors. The house itself needs a bit more maintenance and upkeep. For ex. some bulbs/lights were not working and ceiling fans were coated with dirt. We found it surprising that the host took a day or longer to respond to messages left with the VRBO app. The living/dining areas had enough space to accommodate 5 adults and spend quality time together. We had a lovely stay, and would consider coming back. The area is really beautiful in the spring time.

An access to the Garden of the God’s trails is just yards from the front door! My family walked them in the morning and evening and then did other stuff during the day. Lots of space, very comfortable, and we loved the foosball table! Kitchen well-equipped - there was even a crockpot!!! Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at Pleasant Valley. We absolutely love the location and the house is great too! Everything is always clean, tidy and welcoming! We are grateful for our time there and will for sure be back! You can’t beat walking out your front door to Garden of The Gods!

Location location location
There were 5 of us who met up at the house 30 years after we were in the Navy together. The house was perfect. We all had a room, and the ability to hang out together or go to bed and sleep. So much better than a hotel and the location with the park in the backyard is perfect

Fabulous Location, Charming House
Set within walking distance to the stunning Garden of the Gods, one couldn't ask for a better location than this charming home. Spacious, clean and well appointed, our family felt right at home and enjoyed frequently sitting on the back deck for a quiet breakfast. Overall, a winner.

This property was perfect for our family! There were 9 of us ranging from 7 years old to 67. Five bedrooms and 3 bath was a good fit. The bonus game room with a pool table and foosball were great entertainment and the large dining table was great for playing games. The house was clean and had plenty of supplies for the week. If you like to hike and explore Garden of the Gods is just right outside your door. I would definitely consider renting again. The owner is very friendly.

Amazing location, beautiful house!
Two families and one grandma had a great time spending a week at this property! Walk right into Garden of the Gods and Rock Ledge Ranch! So much to see and do nearby in Manitou Springs as well! Lots of great mountain biking and exploring at Red Rock Open Space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My family of 6 from Texas drove to visit with my dad, stepmom and stepsister from Massachusetts- Julie’s house was prefect for our family of 9 to stay. The house was clean and had plenty of clean blankets, pillows, towels, wash cloths, cookware, flatware, drinkware, and paper products. It also had an outdoor grill, washer & dryer with laundry detergent, iron and ironing board- basically anything we needed and more. The ac in the back room didn’t cool as well as the rest of the house, but Julie was working on getting it fixed as we were checking out from our stay. We saw deer often in the backyard and neighbors yards. Easy access to the trails in garden of the gods and close to everything we wanted to do in manitou springs. We’d definitely stay again if the opportunity arrises.

The house was absolutely beautiful and well furnished. The owner had everything stocked that you could need. Plenty of paper products, hand soap, towels etc. The beds were very comfy and clean. We found the location perfect for our activities…Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Royal Gorge Bridge. My husband and I walked the trail at the end of the road to Garden of the Gods. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone thinking about it.

Wow - just wow
Stumbled across this listing and am so glad we did. We pulled in and immediately jumped on our bikes and rode to the Garden of the Gods. We came back 45 minutes later to unload the car. This amazing home and location were second to none. Having AC was a big change for us in Colorado and that AC hitting you in the face as you come back in side is fantastic. Everything about our stay in this home was great - comfortable beds, great location, solid communication from Julie (owner), spacious garage for our bikes/roof rack, etc. It was an amazing stay in an amazing city! Do yourself a favor and stay here if you are going to bike and/or hike Garden of the Gods...so great! PS It is small thing, but it counts - paper towels / toilette paper were high quality. would highly recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful location with access to hiking trails right outside the house. You can walk to Garden Of the Gods from there (though it is a hike). Nice house. Clean with room for multiple families. Had an issue come up with the downstairs bathroom and the owners were ON IT. They had it resolved in less than 24 hours and were very communicative. It was very appreciated. You’ll be happy with your stay here. Perfect for families with young kids.

Great location for family hiking near Colorado Springs
This house was perfect for our a quick fall break trip with our family. We enjoyed walking at Garden of the Gods several times because of the quick access to the park without having to drive and park in the busy lots. Lots for active family time within 20-30 min drive including Cheyenne Mountain State Park, The Thomas Trail near Green Mountain Falls, the Dinosaur Resource Center and The Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings. The house had everything we needed for cooking for our family, fun times teaching the kids to play pool, and super comfy beds with plenty of room for 7 of us to hang out or spread out. Fantastic location. Good common areas. Well equipped and supplied kitchen, but could have us a dish cloth and extra dish towels. Spacious dining area. We absolutely loved staying in Julie's home - the location was incredible! We enjoyed being able to walk onto the ranch and also take the trails over to Garden of the Gods. It was also centrally located for the places we wanted to visit, and provided us convenience while also letting us enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Julie is a wonderful host, the house is beautifully decorated and was immaculate when we arrived. We liked being able to use the grill and cook dinner at home with all of the necessary dishes, etc. being available. She is quick to respond to questions, and provided us with all of the information we needed to enjoy our trip.

Wonderful property right at the doorstep of the Garden of the Gods. We had great walks each evening with many deer walking along with us. The home has plenty of room with a nice game room downstairs. The location is perfect, close to: Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek, and the Airforce Academy. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect location!
We went to Colorado Springs for a family vacation. There were 10 of us with kids age range 7-17. This house was PERFECT for us! The house is just beautiful! Easy check in with music playing to welcome us! The house is roomy with a big open family/dining room. We sat on the patio and watched the deer outside the back yard. Not only is the house beautiful, the location couldn't be better. You can walk from the house to the Garden of the Gods trails. The trails were easy to walk and we were able to see alot of wildlife. I loved the trails and the kids loved the pool table in the house. They had a pool tournament while we were there. The kids didnt want to leave! They loved this house! Thanks for a wonderful stay. I can't wait to come back some day. I highly recommend this house!

Perfect location!
My family and I loved being so close to Garden of the Gods. They hiked there everyday morning and evening. We were also short minutes away from Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. The house was so clean and roomy for our large family. I definitely recommend this house for someone looking for the perfect location and d”comfort. Staying there made our trip awesome!

The home was great for our group. We were all in town for a wedding and the bedrooms adequately accommodated everyone, the house was clean, and the location provided great access to Garden of the Gods and other local area hiking opportunities. Julie was good about communicating with us before our stay and making sure the house would adequately meet our groups needs. She was in contact with us prior to arrival with local recommendations and area suggestions.

A great place to stay!
The property is in a great location to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and the Denver Airport. We enjoyed the impromptu Beards, Brews, and Bonnets festival that was practically in our backyard! We happened to stay during the Colorado Springs 150th Anniversary celebration and it was a blast! The place is super clean and the game tables on the lower level was a great hangout area for our teens. Two thumbs up!!
