"We rented this cabin to participate in the Colon Cancer Riding for a Reason side-by-side trailhead event at Bass River Resort, and despite the distance to/from the resort, we had a blast driving the backroads and exploring Steelville.This cabin has all of the comforts of home and was very relaxing at the end of the day, after bouncing around in the side-by-side all day. "The property and cabin were amazing Everything is so clean and well maintained. It's apparent the owners put a lot of thought into making the cabin comfortable and cozy for guests. We had a wonderful stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and it was just what we needed. We heard the peeper frogs in the evening and the foggy sunrise greeted us in the mornings. I spent a lot of time on the back deck admiring the land that is straight out of a story book. "

"Cutest cabin just off the highway but felt miles away. So quiet and charming. Rustic feel with nice amenities. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend, so we did not get to use the outdoor fire pit. Next time! Very close to several cute wineries and Rolla is just a skip away. Great for families too with plenty of bed space."

"Susan was very communicative and set up a binder full of instructions and recommendations. The place was nice and cozy, the one issue we ran into was the fire alarm was extra sensitive. When we used the oven, and opened it up to check or grab the food out the alarm would go off. "

We loved the outdoor area that’s where we were most of the time, but the cabins were clean and the beds were comfortable, which is very nice. We also went to the river And spent a day out there twice, but we had a really good time"

"This is a sweet little cabin in the woods. It is very clean and well stocked for a little getaway. There were several deer right outside the window. The shower is amazing. I will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the area. If privacy is what you want, this is they place for you."
