“Me and a few friends stayed to watch the eclipse. We loved the location - close enough to town to get essentials but in a quiet neighborhood. We watched the eclipse sunset over the lake and it was so beautiful! We loved watching the birds on the property. Our only qualm was the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan so it got a little humid”

“This property had plenty of room for our family. Although the main portion of the house is not air conditioned, the bedrooms all had room air conditioners. We really enjoyed being right on the lake. The property between the house and the lake isn't big, but it's very nicely shaded and we spent a lot of time out there. The kids loved the fishing. The cleanliness of the property was an issue. Carpets had crumbs and were dirty. Bathroom wasn't cleaned well. The house clearly had not been dusted……

“The property is cozy with 2 bedrooms and lots of light filled areas to hang out. The property is very recently renovated and everything is clean and new. The setting sun gives a great show every night over the lake. The location is easy driving to downtown Jamestown which has some nice coffee (Crown Roasters) and restaurants.”

“I stay here often. They seem to be trying to improve the image and quality of the area since my last previous visit. The employees having their friends hang out in the lobby and the smell of weed seemed to be addressed and I didn't even complain. Maybe someone else did ?”

“I reserved this place for the solar eclipse weekend months before. There were no reviews yet as it was a new listing, but I took a risk. I reached out to owner after reservation never heard anything. About a month out, I double checked to make sure I had a reservation since I hadn’t heard anything, and I did. I also saw the other bad reviews at that time. I took a risk and kept as it would be difficult to find a place a month before the eclipse. As I drove to the address and was about 2 hours……

“We had a great stay! The house is nicely updated and comfortable. We didn’t plan to do a lot on this trip and stayed in the whole time. The house provided everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again!”

“We visited on a very cold winter weekend. The apartment was freezing when we got there but we were soon able to warm it up and enjoy. Accidentally blew a fuse with the space heater and kitchen appliances but the owner took care of it right away. Ample street parking, short drive from downtown. Highly recommend the National Comedy Museum!”

“My brother and I made this reservation to honor our father who passed away in in 2021. The cabin was perfect because of his love for the outdoors including its location nestled in a quiet cove. The cabin is definitely rustic. It had everything we needed including a beautiful view, and peaceful atmosphere. Plenty of firewood and the necessities for those who enjoy simplicity. The shower is quite small for tall people and hot water spare but served its purpose. We took advantage of the kayaks that……

“The property met our needs except there were no tv stations. I guess you have to know how to do streaming and apps which we do not do. We were there to visit our son and daughter in law who live outside Jamestown and it was a great location, about a 15 minute drive to their house. We had a great time.”
