"The location of this property on Silly Creek provided absolutely beautiful views. We used the kayaks multiple times and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Taylor Bay is very close and the shallow and clear waters were perfect. The property manager and owners were extremely easy to communicate with and provided helpful tips in advance. We’re very happy we decided to stay on this side of the island."

"We rented the villa for our family of 10. Everything was just as advertised and the property manager, Vallie, was super helpful and great with communication. The photos showing the view of the water don't do it justice. Waking up every day to that spectacular view was amazing. We had plenty of room in the house and enjoyed the game room and deck area. We had a small problem with the light in the pool, but Vallie jumped right on it and it was fixed right away. We would highly recommend this villa and hope to return again."

"We stayed here after 4 months cruising on our sailboat. We needed a place to stay while off loading our boat and prepare it for storage. There are several beaches nearby for enjoying the water. The apartment was quiet and peaceful. The views are spectacular, the kayaking is great. Easy in and out access on the waters edge and dock. Outdoor spaces are also very nice."

"When we were looking for a vacation villa we struggled to find the right mix of everything but kept coming back to Shades of Blue, eventually picking it for our trip. "The house was everything we’d hoped for! Well air conditioned and comfortable for our family of 7. Having our own pool and everything with in close driving distance was perfect! Highly recommend! Pool toys are available, some floats and floaties too. Loved having the kayaks and paddle boards. Beach chairs were great too! The beach is more muddy than sand not able to walk out without getting stuck, jelly fish present but lots of seashells to collect. Beach is a 6 minute drive with side parking right next to the area to walk down. The walking path from the house itself is not good for kids and is 15 minutes to Taylor beach. The beach is beautiful you can walk out so far crystal clear. Sapodillo beach lots of sales people wanting to sell you chairs to sit and they take up almost the whole beach and give you very little spots to bring your own chairs.Drinks are a rip off fake alcohol. Grocery store is 15 mins make sure to be cautious of side streets maps will want to take you on.Lots of side roads are super rocky and muddy. Stay on the main roads. Nicer restaurants on north side of the island, we do recommend bugaloos and Las Brisas. Bring light jackets to restaurants in case it’s windy, it gets chilly. Highly recommend Mangos, Baci, Vita, Indigo, 72 West. Highly recommend a day pass a Somerset resort, the and have showers if you have time to kill before your flight home. The bar/pool side restaurant was amazing and the view too! Arrive to the airport 2 hours early is plenty"

"This is our third time visiting Turks & Caicos and second time staying in a VRBO on Chalk Sound. The Villa on Chalk Sound was perfect. The back decks, pool, with access to the sound was amazing. We enjoyed the kayaks and being so close to Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay beaches (by far the most beautiful beaches on the island, not a steep drop-off like you find in Grace Bay). This house was fully stocked and ready for our family and friends! It was nice to have two master bedroom set-ups so we didn't have to draw straws. The ping pong table/game room area was also a hit when the kids had too much sun and too much fun in the water. *Took us a day or two to realize that the washer and dryer was downstairs and access is outside, down the stairs by the sliding glass door in the kitchen! We highly recommend! Another travel tip: FLY DELTA ONLY TO PLS. :)"

"Everything better than described. Total privacy with an amazing view and close enough to Grace Bay with a great beach Taylor Bay beach just 5 minutes away. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that if we go back to Turks we will definitely stay here again."
