"I was traveling alone (55 yr old female) from Sacramento CA to Bend OR... and wanted a two day trip, I found the Running Y Resort and was pleasantly surprised! It had everything, running (or biking) trial, pool, nice big comfortable rooms, great outdoor dining with beautiful view, plus the food and service was excellent! I will plan to stop by everytime I travel to Bend! "

"I really want to give this property a 5-star rating. But, I can’t. The views are incredible and the property is beautiful. NOTE: IF YOU ARE SCARED OF DOGS, GO ELSEWHERE. We were greeted by the owner’s MULTIPLE dogs. It was difficult to get into the property because we thought we’d run them over. One of them even nipped a couple of us. The view from the patio where the fire pit is located is amazing. The patio also includes a large flat-top iron grill and a BBQ grill, a wood-burning fire pit...

"This is our second year coming to the Lodge and we LOVE it! We bring our children every year for my birthday and love that we can all fit into one home that has so much space for us all to spread out. we enjoy playig games in the game area, cooking in the massive kitchen and having king size beds for everyone. It is the best place we have stayed so far for out family's needs. We are already talking about going back this summer to enjoy the pool and BBQ'ing. Great place and great location!"

"An immaculate log home by the river, very thoughtfully and attentively managed. For our stay in early Spring, we loved having the real fire, the hot tub and the pleasant drive to Leavenworth."

"We had a group of 14 people that stayed at this cabin for a ski/snowboarding trip. The size was perfect, we never felt cramped and everyone was able to get their own bed."

The hosts were incredibly communicative, the space was almost exactly as the pictures showed (some bed changes from the photos, but nothing that didn’t work for us), and a wonderfully stocked kitchen in regards to utensils and cookware. "This place was clean, quiet, calm, and EXACTLY what i needed! The property managers were phenomenal as well, super helpful and informative, while still maintaining privacy. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with great views and a cozy spot rain or shine, look no further. There are a few other cabins near by, but it still feels very secluded, there's not much close by so come prepared for your stay and just enjoy your little slice of heaven.
