Have stayed here before to attend Carlise Racecourse. £ 11 in a taxi to course, so great location. The Crown pub across the road is great, with lovely staff and food. Would definitely stay again.

Great spot for a night to break up a long journey. Will come back again for a few nights to explore the area. Some may say the en-suite was dated but it was great for me and the hot water a good pressure and endless. Breakfast was excellent too tip ask for eggs from the kitchen.
