Property was beautiful. I loved all the greenery around the hotel. I loved the vibe like rustic cabins. The decor was beautiful. Very close to the ferry to go to isla mujeres. The pool was open 24 hrs. We stayed 2 nights.

This place was very charming! Beautiful plants everywhere and a pool that’s open 24hrs, easy to get to other places and spacious rooms. Very cute for the short stay we had. The staff were so kind and helpful !

This hotel is very Mexican with plants and books and decoration super nice. The bed was super comfy. A/c works really good. Shower had hot water and good pression. Pool is clean.

It was a perfect place to stay one night to be close to ferry to Isla. A small Mexican hotel with nice view, friendly staff. Had some quaint character and guests from all over to chat with over morning coffee in the breakfast area. One of the employees walked with us and our bags to the ferry, above and beyond what he needed to. There were a few restaurants and bars in the area.

Charming
This is a little gem for seasoned travelers who enjoy a friendly environment with charm. Conveniently located a block from the ferry to Isla Mujeres, this beachfront property has lovely views, a sweet tropical garden and very relaxed style. It could use some updates but I loved it.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchen with large fridge. The check-in was quick and friendly. The pool was a great refresher after our flight. We had a very comfortable king bed. Breakfast was coffee, juice and toast with butter - very basic - but the restaurant views are excellent. Our only complaint is the loud music and voices at 3 am til ? outside our room. Probably not a regular occurrence. We booked our one night here because of its proximity to Puerto Juarez ferry to Isla Mujeres. Easy walk over to the ferry. We would definitely stay again.

The guy at the front desk told me his system shows reservation only for 2 adults and 2 kids, but it was for 4 adults and 3 kids, He insist I was wrong and i did a wrong reservation, I had to look for my scren shots to prove I was right. breakfast is a joke.

Le comento que, efectivamente su reserva, estaba hecha para 4 personas, ya que, la villa doble que usted reservó NO ES PARA 7 personas, de hecho, el sistema no se lo hubiese permitido reservar. Por lo que, usted no podía estar en una villa para 4 personas, con 3 más. Y si, realizó mal la reserva, en este caso, tenía que haber reservado 1 doble y una sencilla y pagar 1 persona extra. El desayuno es una broma para usted porque creen que es todo incluido, y es una cortesía y es continental. Le invitamos a reservar correctamente cuando vaya a hospedarse y leer muy bien lo que incluye.Con amor: Casa Caribe.

Although there’s no elevator, we don’t mind. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Also the pool is enough to spend a relaxing day. We booked it as it is right next to Ultramar Ferry going to Isla Mujeres, our favorite island. I will definitely go back here!

The property was just ok. The service was just ok. The rooms got pretty warm. Breakfast was supposed to be included, however, when we went to get breakfast the person who did the cooking was not in the premises. We had to go get toilet paper ourselves because we ran out.

Not so good
Its a bit run-down. A few roches in the kitchen at night. I liked the balcony, and the dinning area was right next to the water. A good loca y ion near the ferry terminal. Of the did some maintenance, and put some money into this hotel, it would be great, since the lication is so good and fight on the water. As it is I'd probably not stay there again, but it was a very good price if you need to save some money.

Old Tired Hotel
Hotel is too old and needs lots of maintenance. The pictures in the internet advertising this hotel were taken in the year 2002 and do not reflect the real way it looks now. The breakfast they provide free is just cold, insipid coffee, watermelon and cantaloupe, hibiscus iced tea, and toast with butter and jelly. The positive things about the hotel are: 1. Comfortable bed 2 . AC units in the bedrooms

A Disappointing Stay
The stay was ok for what we needed since we were mostly out of the hotel. However, the property needs a lot of maintenance. The pictures we see in the advertisement on the internet are 21 years old. The entrance to the hotel looks dilapidated. Once you’re in the lobby, the appearance is better. The villas are all differently distributed. Ours was much better than some other ones where the rest of our group stayed at. We got a villa with two bedrooms, kitchen, dinning room and living room. There’s an AC split unit in each bedroom. Now about the “free” breakfast that is included. The only thing they serve is fruit (watermelon and cantaloupe ), coffee, and toast with butter and jam. They don’t serve any kind juice. So, we ended up going out of the hotel to have breakfast.

Efectivamente, el hotel tiene muchos años, pero se le da el mantenimiento conforme lo va requiriendo el edificio todas las villas tienen su propio encanto, es de acuerdo a gustos el que le hayan parecido mejores las que le fueron asignadas, respecto al desayuno, si no le dieron jugo, lo pudo haber solicitado, ya que, es parte del desayuno continental que es de cortesía, y si hubiesen querido algo más completo, el restaurante cuenta con menú, que también pudieron solicitar. Place was cute. Had to walk 10 mins to get to the beach. My airpods were stolen. I tried to contact them multiple ways but they were unresponsive. I could see where they were on the map. Very upsetting.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was not plentiful but was tasty and sufficient (coffee was weak). The ambiance is amazing, there is a wonderful atmosphere in Casa Caribe. The rooms are large and clean. The kitchens are not stocked and we had to request towels. However we were given bottled water every time we requested it.

Wonderful stay!
Had a great stay at Casa Caribe. Family apartment was very spacious, with all the essentials and some nice touches. Hotel is no-frills but cosy and homey. Breakfast was basic, but a nice extra given the price of the room. Our little ones loved the pool and garden areas. And the location - oceanfront & walking distance to the Isla Mujeres ferry, really can’t be beat. All in all a wonderful stay and a great value. We wish we would have had more time … and will definitely be back!

I booked this hotel for my last day in Mexico because it is so close to the ferry from Isla Mujeres (a couple of minutes walking), OXXO convenient store (right at the ferry) and around 20 minutes to Cancun airport. It's old styled hotel but I like it. My room has pool/ocean/palm tree view which is lovely. The floor, bedsheets, bathroom were clean but has sewage smell from the underneath drainage system (you know the building built long time ago may have this problem, I just closed the bathroom door and don't smell anything in the bedroom or kitchen). Receptionists both day and night are very nice, the one day time speaks English well, the night one speaks a little but he used translation on phone to speak with me (at least he tried and I can still understand him). There was a lot of smelly seaweed in the ocean on the day I arrived (July 12, 2022), but I expected this and I just chose this for the location as I mentioned above and its good price bc I just stayed like 12 hours total in this hotel. Good value for my purpose!

Probably won’t stay again. Older property but clean. I kept being woke up by outside noise. 3rd floor, no elevator. No one around at 7:30 check out. It was a very tropical hotel. Loved the trees and vines everywhere.

Right next to the Isla Mujeres Ferry. Literally a 3 min walk. Very well kept hotel room. And the continental breakfast was so good. Cheers to the cooks who made the potatoes.

Won't be back.
Service was good based on a taxi to the airport on time only. Pretty room. But.. No restruant on premises while there. No ocean view for me after requesting for it many months ago. As for cleanness, mosquitoes biting me all night could not sleep.

Disfrutamos nuestra estadía ,es un lugar tranquilo un pequeño hotel rústico limpio y la locación es ideal para ir a isla mujeres, el desayuno está muy bueno y todos son muy amables , es ideal para ir con la mascota , pet friendly 🙂 a la entrada del hotel está un perrito muy lindo y eso hace que el lugar sea mas agradable su nombre es Chepino . We enjoyed our stay, it is a quiet place, a small clean rustic hotel and the location is ideal to go to Isla Mujeres, the breakfast is very good and everyone is very friendly, it is ideal to go with the pet, pet friendly hotel 🙂 for an affordable price,at the entrance of the hotel there is a very cute dog 🐶 named “chepino”and that makes the place more pleasant… we will be back soon

The desk person couldn't find us in his system and told us to contact Expedia regarding the money paid and reservation NOT found in their system. I spent about 30 mins insisting he check with their other staff member off site. Later they DID find the reservation and processed us. They need an ONSITE computer system NOT offsite.

Property is nice located dose not have a beach but the staff service is terrible did not get the room what I had paid because they overbooked hated it!!

The villa was very spacious with lots of room for guests and a full kitchen. The property is nicely designed, however, it was very dirty and the pictures are deceiving - we did not have towels or soap in our rooms and had to request every little thing. The kitchen appliances were dirty, the iron was broken, the sheets had stains on them and there was even hair on the pillowcase. I would NOT recommend this place. The location is also not convenient and we had to take transportation to get to down town or the beaches, which we ended up paying a good amount for.
