The staff are super nice & helpful, I really like that the rooms have wood laminate floors (so much better than carpet), and the sound of the ocean while falling asleep and waking up is just priceless. Good dining options with ocean view next door and across the street, and the location is just perfect, at the half-way point for a Pacific Coast Highway trip from LA to San Francisco.
Bonus: a working Triumph motorcycle and lots of car models in the reception, and cool motorcycle art in the rooms.
Lovely people who go out of there way to help you. Very welcoming. Check-in was really quick. The place is a bit dated but it’s great for an overnight stop.
Had a wonderful stay here after a long day of travels. The lady working the front desk on Thursday afternoon was super sweet and helpful! Also the rooms were super cute and clean. STAY HERE!!!
Lovely 2-star motel in San Simeon.
Clean, updated rooms.
Free parking & unlimited electric car charging for $15.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Shout out to Vanessa at the front desk!
I would easily pick this inn over any other in this neck of the woods. The owner, the managers made me feel right at home and very welcome.
Terrific location too.
It’s honestly a good stop when going through pch. One of the good motels I’ve stayed at. Staff was friendly and rooms were big n clean. Plenty of parking available too
Our trip there was pleasant and the staff were very helpful and funny. The room was nice and clean and the refrigerator was old school and worked really well. We would stay again and would recommend to others.
The staffs are friendly, parking is easy and always available, clean room, and decent breakfast. Easy access to the freeway, near Hearst Castle, just across the beach.
My son and I had an amazing stay at Coast Riders Inn. From the moment we arrived, Buddy, Vanessa and Jane made us feel welcomed and completely at home. They offered us homemade chocolate chip cookies upon arrival and explained to us the cool things to check out in the area. The rooms were super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The retro microwave, coffee, machine, and fridge/freezer were absolutely delightful! And Buddy’s Lego collection is awesome! We look forward to coming back to Coast Riders next time we’re in Central California and staying at this very special place! We loved it!!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The motel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The bed sheets were challenging. Each morning, the fitted sheet corners needed adjusting. The shower water would be scalding hot one moment and, after adjusting, very cold. The water pressure was very low. The breakfast was more continental-style.
