So good, I don’t want to share!

Our cottage (Kestrel) was a compact, but efficient space. Incredibly clean and serene. The grounds are gorgeous. Highly recommend the sanctuary tour, the pig walk, and bringing your bathing suit, closed toed shoes, and some marshmallows and sticks to enjoy everything!

Super cute ranch. It felt like we were glamping. The breakfast basket is such a great idea. You have all your breakfast items for the morning. We walked around the ranch and it was very peaceful and quiet. Our cottage was modern and very clean. We will definitely come back with family and friends.

The cabins were nice, but the grounds had not been maintained, the creek that was once beautiful and lively with ducks and fish,was dried up with moss and mold. The hot tub was drained. The check in person at the front desk, however, was super nice and apologetic. We left the property as we did not want to stay.

This is Paradise.

The staff really cared about making sure we had a wonderful time and the grounds were absolutely like paradise. We didn't want to leave.. it's a hidden gem and a gorgeous canyon that is lush. The rooms are very clean and the air is fresh. It's the time of year the windows were open before we arrived. The cabins are so cozy.

I stayed at the Sparrow Cottage for a weekend in December. There was a little hiccup with the gate code, so I’m glad I arrived while the office was still open. Everything else was great - very clean and comfortable cottage, great welcome/breakfast basket, a really useful suite of appliances for toast and coffee. On the ground lots of space for kids to play and run (sports goals, chess, lawn games). Very quiet at night and home to great horned owls! It was absolutely lovely and I would definitely stay there again. (Note, friends were staying at another cottage and their water was rather sulfurous smelling, but the water in the Sparrow cottage had none of that - it tasted and smelled great.)

This place is a hidden gem. It feels like you're in a forest and staying in a cabin. In the morning, you can hear the birds, and at night, you can hear the frogs and owls. They have an animal sanctuary you can tour, which is great because it teaches the kids the history of the animals and how they were rescued. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the fire pit with the smores, the big playground area for the kids, and the jacuzzi with the cabanas. The kids can run and play in big grassy areas during the day, and the game room has a big projector and couches where you can relax and watch TV. We are coming back this summer.

Great property to relax and enjoy nature. The cabins were well appointed for the most part. Our cabin was updated and well decorated except the bathroom. It had old 1970s cabinetry and shower. The shower head was rusted and small. Since our stay was brief, it wasn’t a big deal, but would’ve preferred a fully updated cabin for a longer stay. The breakfast basket is such a nice touch especially since grocery is a little far. The staff is helpful and welcoming. Inspite of the rain, the staff still made Easter fun for the kids. Kudos to the young lady who gave us a tour of the animal sanctuary. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great place for a family getaway!

Bandy is a hidden gem that will only get better

We spent our spring break at Bandy Canyon Ranch. It was wonderful! Our family (Dad, Mom, 2 young kids) stayed in the Peacock Cottage. It's recently been renovated and was very comfortable. A quick note: BCR got new owners a few years back, and they're actively investing in the property. They're going through each cottage to upgrade/renovate it. (One was actively being worked on while we were there.) The same is true of the grounds. Our kids loved the pool area. The grounds were fun and *beautiful*, full of plants and birds. They also have a playground area and games for kids to play. We loved our time, but also could see it's going to be even better when the upgrades are finished. BCR doesn't have a restaurant on site. They offer several boxed meal/treat options (breakfast, snacks, charcuterie, treats, etc). On weekends, they have a pizza oven, and they'll prepare some great 12" pies, made to order. (Delicious.) They also had a movie night on one of their lawns, but it was past our kids' bedtimes. BCR is a short drive from the Safari Park, and it's a perfect option if you're going there. We will most certainly be back, with the intention of traveling with a few other families, as this is a great, intimate spot to travel with a group of friends/family. (I'm betting this will end up being a desirable wedding venue too.). Last thing: they have an animal sanctuary on site that our kiddos were delighted by. 5 stars.

Just got back from an overnight stay at the cottage. Beautiful area, surroundings among nature. The cottage was warm and comfy, and clean. We had a balcony to ourselves and ample space for the 2 of us. However, when it came to dinner time, the restaurant on site was CLOSED. We looked up numerous "nearby" places but none would deliver due to the resort either being too far away or closed for christmas holiday.NO FOOD DELIVERY available to this resort! We called reception who was very nice and gave us the gate number to allow any deliveries in however it was fruitless as nothing was available nearby. We also had an issue with the AC but the receptionist was very helpful and came immediately to help us out. Hubby and I ending up eating from the breakfast basket for dinner. This basket was provided to us at check in (around 3pm the day before). This could be due to the christmas holiday but make sure to see if the on site restaurant is available before you go or you will lack any dining experiences from being at this resort. I wish i had packed food from home or gotten it otw to the resort to store in the fridge. Overall a well recommended place & a would stay again!

Beautiful and peaceful property with super nice staff. Picturesque property kept nicely manicured. Clean all around. Wish I could have stayed longer. Only disappointing part was that there isn't a restaurant there or a bigger assortment of breakfast food. The little coffee cart was cute and fit the ambiance. Would be perfect if you need to get away and decompress or for a wedding. for a getawayWill definitely visit again.

Nice Jome Vacation

There is a lot of dust under the beds. They should sweep or use a robot vacuum cleaner. The room inside needs to be renovated. They should have free breakfast because it's outside the city.
