Great place to stay, especially for motorcycle travelers. Parking and rooms are very well suited for us on two wheels. We ate at a very good steakhouse across the street, then finished our night next door at the bowling alley with a friendly staff. Plus, a Safeway grocery store is a short walk.
Two ladies at the front desk were so nice, professional, and great people! I have stayed at the hotel three times over the years and the rooms are always clean and nice!
Decent motel like stay with a few quirks (i.e. the heater is very loud, lots of little noises in the small room).
Otherwise a worthwhile stay while visiting Burney or Lassen.
Nice location and clean room. The room did lack outlets for charging devices. The only options (for our room #176) was below the light switch as you walked in, behind an entertainment center that needed to be moved for access, or a power strip behind the bed that we had to pull out. Other than those minor inconveniences, the staff was pleasant and area quiet. I would recommend a clock or night stand light fixture with USB options.
Lots of emails after booking, check-in was fine, room small, shower moldy on bottom with ants. Walls thin, hired help enabled friends to fix their vehicle in the parking lot, Homeless man lives in back and cooks and sleeps on property. No peace and quiet here.
It was right off the main road shopping near b y but still very quite and among the woods

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
The bed is a mattress on top of a metal frame/box, it made loud sounds every time my feet bumped the metal box, very annoying.
Reasonable price, close to Burney Fall.

Disliked: Amenities
Cottage style motel rooms in the old fashion roadside travel accommodation tradition from a removed era. Modest property, but conveniently located for our travels. Property is surprisingly quiet. Food choices are limited nearby, with only coffee at the property.
Great people & service. They arranged late check-in & early check-out. Clean and comfortable rooms in good repair. Green Gables is as advertised; nothing more & nothing less. I recommend this as a very good place to stay.
Check in was easy. Parking was good. Liked it was single story. Inside was very dated. Room very small. With 2 beds in room it was a challenge to get into bathroom as you had to squeeze around bed. Bathroom small. Tiny shelf to put you items. Medicine cabinet wasn’t useful. The fixtures were made for very short people. Toilet very low to floor, sink I had to bend way down to use. Couldn’t wash my hair in shower. The shower stall barely allowed for you to turn around. The shower head was so low I couldn’t contort myself enough to wash my hair. The town itself had very few dining options. Sunday and Monday most closed.
An overpriced cheap motel. Bathroom was tight, no bathtub, small shower. Very thin walls, I could hear a neighbor snoring next door, and of course the highway traffic. No late checkout available.
A clean and decent place to stay when visiting Lassen or Burney. No complaints about the inn. The only problem was that a group of guests talked at the picnic table outside until past 1AM. They weren't particularly loud but the voices carry at night. I couldn't sleep until I figured out I could drown out their voices by turning on the rather loud AC unit in the room.
Even tho the room was small, it was pretty clean. I just didn’t like the metal thing under the bed coz of the sound it makes whenever I get out of bed.
We enjoyed the old style courtyard motel architecture. The refurbishing of the rooms kept the original ambiance. The only item that could be improved is more electrical outlets for charging electronics. I had to unplug the microwave and coffee maker so I could chare 2 phones and a tablet.
The whole experience was pleasant. Unfortunately I arrived later than expected and as it was almost 10 PM, I could not really examine the facilities and property area. But from what I could see the property was well maintained. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. During my short stay, I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. There is nothing negative I can state at this time.
Great hotel! I think it’s the best one in Burney. Our room was clean and cute. It’s not modern but it’s quaint and beautiful trees all around. I loved our little front porch. I would definitely recommend it!!!
