Family Mexican vacation
Went on a trip with my three adult children, their partners and their babies. Babies were 3 months, 9 months and 20 months. House was perfect - each group had their own private room complete with ensuite. Pool was fabulous and a short walk to the beach. House supplied wagons, umbrellas etc. everything required for a successful beach day. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Our cook provided meals better than any restaurant. We were sorry to leave and would definitely book again.

Best Vacation for All Ages
This was the best vacation experience I have ever had. We had 3 families ranging in ages from 5 to 55 staying at Monica's property and it was the perfect vacation place for all ages. Monica was responsive and awesome. She gave us a lot of great recommendations. Her excursion recommendations were fantastic. The property was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. What really set this apart was the staff (Paulina & crew). They were friendly and helpful. They helped my kids learn some basic Spanish phrases to use around the house. I loved coming back from an excursion and my kids would hop into the pool for another few hours while Paulina made us adults the best margaritas to sip poolside. Meals were fantastic. We would hands down stay at Monica's property again and are so thankful for our entire experience. Thank you Monica, Paulina, and crew!

8 of us sisters, nieces & partners stayed for 6 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. Enough room to have your own space and also fabulous choices of areas to hang out and socialize. Loved the upper patio in the morning for shade and ocean breeze. The pool area was great with a mix of Sun and shade. Easy access to the beautiful expansive beach. But what took this stay to the next level was care and food provided by Denis, Mariana and Paulina. Big thank you from all of us:)

Paradise in Bucerías
Great property only 5 min walk to the beach. House had everything, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, corn hole, wagon, coolers! The villa is better then advertised and Denise, Paulina and Mariana make the stay 5+stars. The meals were absolutely delicious and ladies were so wonderful. Definitely will be back!!!!

Wonderful Place!
This is an amazing property; it was exactly the same in real life as it looked in the photos. The house is spacious and comfortably fit our family of four plus another family of five. Denise, the personal chef, was amazing, as were the rest of the staff. A few things: 1. There is definitely noise, especially if you are in the suite closest to the street. (Some reviews commented on the construction in the area, and there is definitely a lot of construction, with several high rises going up nearby - it's definitely an "up and coming" area.) 2. It does end up costing you more than it may seem when you book. As a party of nine, we paid $50/day extra for having more than eight guests, and you are also expected to tip the staff $15-$20 per day per person, which adds a lot to overall price - about $1500 more for a party of nine for a week. After you meet the staff and see how they spoil you, you will want to tip them, but it was still a significant amount for us that we weren't necessarily prepared for. Overall, still a great deal, especially if you look at hotel and restaurant prices in the area. Also, having a someone available to cook meals made it a truly relaxing experience.

Definitely recommend!
Our family visits this area of Mexico fairly regularly and rents properties each time. This home was an amazing place to stay and definitely one of our favorites! The layout of the home is unique and allows for everyone to have their own private space and bathroom which is a great feature for a group of adults. The staff really makes your stay extra amazing!

A week in paradise!
Well appointed, beautiful home with exceptional staff, manager and owner. The pool, patio, rooftop deck, and gardens are all lovely and well maintained. The beach, town centre, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. A public bus stop for a trip to Sayulita is within 2 blocks, cheap and fast. There is a lot of construction in the neighbourhood, but we tuned it out with our own music, laughter, margaritas and relaxed vibes. The neighbour behind the house took to burning garden waste at night, which made evenings outside unpleasant. Our direct requests for them to stop or wait until later (in Spanish & English) were ignored. However, this is not a house issue, so we do not count it as part of our review of the property. We cannot heap enough praise on on Denisse & Guille - they are welcoming, kind, accommodating, authentic, wonderful women! Out trip experience was kicked up a few notches by their food and service. We celebrated 2 birthdays while at the Casa, and they made both days very special. Airport transfers arranged by Nancy were so helpful and made life super simple. A welcome drink upon arrival got us right into vacation mode! We recommend splitting the driver tip; we paid round trip transport fee plus tips upon arrival, but a different driver took us back to the airport. We don’t know if she got her half or not. Highly recommend Monica’s Casa for a great vacation!

Amazing place to stay
Stayed here with a group of 5 other people. The house was lovely, with a good vibe, nice pool, and a number of little nooks for quiet time. The setup was good for our group as besides the rooms in the main house some of the rooms were a bit separate. The location was perfect. The beach is a few blocks away and it's just far enough away from the center of town to be both a short walk & away from the hustle and bustle. The host was great and was very responsive, always available to answer any questions we had. All of that would already be great. But what really set this place apart were the ladies that work here. They're so friendly and always looking to make sure you're enjoying your stay. Denise's meals were amazing. We never wanted to miss her cooking. The hardest decisions all week were how to work in some other local bites without skipping meals at the house.

Exceeded Expectations.
From the minute we walked through the doors our expectations of this property and their wonderful staff were exceeded. We were so warmly welcomed by Denise, Mariana and Guille. Monica and Nancy were so responsive as we got settled which was nice as we did have a few questions. We had 9 in our group and the Casa was perfect. Every bedroom with full beautiful bathrooms was perfect and everyone had their own space if they felt like they needed to just chill out. The morning coffees on the rooftop deck while we waited for our favourite meal of the day was a beautiful way to start the day. The house also provided all the amenities for a day at the playa - wagons and chairs and beach umbrellas to tote down the very small walk to the beach was perfect. This group has travelled together before and mostly we did AI resorts. But this is sooooo much better! Again I can’t stress enough how wonderful the 3 amazing women who make Casa Tres Palapas so enjoyable with their cooking and warm and loving spirit. They become familia. Hidden Gem
My family and I, with friends, stayed at Monica’s home in Bucerias from November 2nd to 12th. We were a group of 6. The house is a wonderful example of local architecture with a welcoming courtyard with a pool and lots of lush greenery; the pictures do NOT do it justice. The property is comfortable for small to medium size groups (8 to 10) but can definitely accommodate a few more. The staff, Chef Denise and Guille are amazing and were very welcoming at arrival. Denise treated us with wonderful, authentic meals of our choosing and was very flexible with meal timing as it suited our schedule. They were always willing to do whatever it took to make the stay enjoyable. During our stay we reached out to the owner, Monica, and she was always very quick to respond to our questions (internet related) and issues were handled quickly and efficiently. The location is perfect. Other reviews noted construction nearby; while true, we were not impacted by noise or dust. The close proximity to the beach and Calle Lazaro Cardenas made daily activities very convenient. It is just over 1 km to walk to the Kissing Bridge into the market in Bucerias. It was also a quick walk to the Chedraui as well when we needed to grab extra drinks and snacks that we didn’t want to bother to ask the girls to buy. Cabs can be found nearby at the Chedraui or the Royal Decameron and buses easily accessible at the highway for excursions to Sayulita, Punta de Mita, or Puerto Vallarta.

Beautiful home
Like many homes, it has its pros and cons. We did have a few issues, but Monica addressed them promptly. Pro & Cons It's a charming home, only two blocks from the beach. The staff is fantastic! I would come back for them alone! They made the vacation genuinely relaxing. - This beach is where the locals go. So you won't get bugged constantly by the sellers that walk along the coast. -I usually stay in the PV Romantica area when visiting, but the group wanted to try Bucerias. This area deters from the “fast-paced”/city life tourists may get when staying in PV. It's a cheap Uber ride to places, but we were in a group of 10, preventing us from doing much. -Ask for the contract before the nonrefundable date. This is the first home I stayed in where they had an extended contract beyond the one through VRBO/AB&B. I received it two days before arrival. -It was hard to find a good restaurant close by, but we found three good bars within two blocks of the home. -There is also a grocery store about 0.3 miles away. -I love walking & going to markets, and the closest one is 1.3 miles away. Uber ride for three people was ~$5 one way. - FYI, new condos are being built across the way. We would hear construction noises from 7 AM until 6 PM—every day except Sunday. Another con I debated about posting is we had a thatched roof in 2/5 bedrooms. While we were here, a heavy rainstorm hit the area. When it rained, larvae & bugs came onto the beds. Monica did address the issue and said it's fumigated every month. In my experience, it is Mexico and bugs are normal; I've never stayed in a home with a thatched roof, and I was not expecting that to be in my kid's bed. Another issue is the thatched roof does have a powerful smell. It gave me migraines and made me nauseous. In all, the staff made it worthwhile, and they were beyond helpful. We miss them and wish we could bring them home with us. We're starving without them. Ask for chef choice; we did that for our last meal, and she made our group a traditional food that her parents used to make at their restaurant. It was amazing! But in reality, every meal is delicious also.

Absolutely Perfect!
My husband and I brought my parents and 5 children (ranging from 4-19) to this beautiful vacation home in early September. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Monica, the house staff, and this gorgeous property. The home is absolutely stunning and in a great location, within a couple minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The owner Monica, and Nancy (with property management) were extremely helpful with setting up transportation, giving us recommendations on excursions, and answering questions before and during our stay. But I have to say… the hidden gems are Denise and Guille! They are the absolute best and truly made our stay unforgettable!! The food was amazing, the home was spotless, and these two women embody Mexican hospitality at its finest. Denise and Guille worked around our schedule (as well as our kids’) and were able to deliver delicious dishes that were truly out of this world! We will absolutely be back to this property and I’m praying these magnificent women will still be there! We’ve been on dozens of vacations and this one takes the cake by far :)

AMAZING!!!!!!
If you're looking at houses in Bucerias, look no further. This house has it all, lots of space, a pool, a chef, and a housekeeper! The space and pool are self explanatory, but the chef and housekeeper, well that's the magic of this place! Denise, the chef, is probably the best cook in Bucerias and maybe PV. My suggestion, give her an idea of what you like and then just set her free and order the chef's choice. She will blow your mind! If that isn't enough to impress, ask her to make you a Margaritas or Pina Coladas!!! Again, hands down the best in town! And Gulien, wow, she was amazing as well. She was extremely helpful, ensuring that we always had what we needed. She also kept the house spotless! If you are looking for a worry-free vacation with AMAZING STAFF this is the place! DO NOT LET THIS ONE PASS YOU BY!

Fantastic house and property. We were on a friends trip with a group of 4 couples. All the rooms were great. The staff was very helpful and communication with the property manager and owner was excellent. This VRBO was well stocked with everything we needed and everything was in great condition. Located near the beach and is an easy walk to the public beach access. The house had a wagon and beach chairs that we were able to use.

We cannot express how perfect this home was for our vacation! The location, the size, the pool, all perfect. If you’ve got a family celebration or a fun girls weekend, this place will check off all the boxes. Exceptional Family Vacation
We had 12 family members, we all fit comfortably in the house and external rooms. The set up was perfect. Denice the chef made us wonderful meals daily and accommodated for the little ones in the family. Guillermo who cleaned the house worked around the two littlest ones nap schedules and assured the cleaning was done to not disturbed them. They both made us so comfortable. I highly recommend the house if you want to relax. The beach is only two blocks away.

Family vacation extraordinaire !!!
We were a group of 10 - 3 year old to grandparents. This home had it all - beautiful setting close to beach, town and shopping. Private space for everyone. Lovely pool which we all enjoyed. Fantastic top notch vacation
I just spent 23 lovely nights in this beautiful spot. The house is beautiful the outdoor spaces are beautiful but most wonderful of all are the staff, Denise and Guille Make sure that everything was perfect every day. The staff are what made our vacation amazing. The only issue we had was that the pool was not preheated before we got there, but that was a minor thing. The meals were absolutely wonderful, as were the drinks. Some of us were there to relax only and this property made that more than easy to do. Some of the guests were there for adventure and action and they were also able to find that within close proximity. every single one of us that were there would love to go back to the same property again. We love it there and I for one was very sad to come home

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Tres Palapas and Denise and Geeja were so sweet. Definitely would stay again; location was great. One bedroom was a wee bit small for 4 couples but we made it work and loved our time there. Monica was great to deal with as was Nancy.

Amazing villa in a perfect location
This property was beautiful, spacious, clean and in a wonderful location - the beach, a gym, restaurants, grocery store, pharmacies and a taxi stand are all within a 5 minute walk. Denise the chef and Guille the housekeeper were the most kind and warm women ever! We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful retreat in Bucerias. My only issue was the lack of communication from the property manager while we trying to figure out how to use the safes. However communication with Monica the owner was great she was very responsive via email. Overall we had an absolutely wonderful time there, and we have already recommended this place to friends and family.

Went to the house with 7 other people and we all had our own space with many areas to socialize! The maid and chef were outstanding and super helpful— they went above and beyond. Beach nearby with taxi service around the corner. Everything you need is right there: expect to be blown away by everything Monica has set up for your stay.

Absolutely Perfect!
Location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants etc. Monica (owner) was seriously the best owner I’ve had the pleasure to work with. She had so many helpful tips, activities we could do, super responsive, and made everything so easy for us! And then the house staff! We ate the best authentic food with Chef Denise and Guille had the place spotless. We definitely plan to book here again. Perfect for families that also want their own space. Also the place felt very safe. We had a great time! Gracias from my whole family!

The condition and cleanliness of this home impressed me and that's hard to do. The pool is even larger than the pictures imply and it's beautifully kept. Liana is very responsive and offered a lot of helpful suggestions to be sure we enjoyed our trip to the greatest extent. It's completely outside of her control but there is construction next door though she was both proactive and responsive when we had a small issue with noise. The kitchens are well-equipped and you won't want for towels or linens if needed during your stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed in main house.
My wife and I stayed in the Main house which is very nice and spacious- 2 levels. This is a very secure complex in a quiet neighborhood. Close to wonderful tucked away restaurants. The beach is very nice, well groomed and not crowded. Only two blocks away. In our opinion this property lends itself better to a family or group stay because the units are in very close proximity to one another around the pool and patio area. This is a very well kept, clean complex and Jeff the property manager is fantastic and always available to help with any questions we had.

We are happy that you thought the Main house was spacious and the property was clean, well kept, and secure with the staff available to help if needed. Per night price reflects the value of beach, restaurants, and shops within a short walk but shared outdoor space. The space outdoors is being expanded this summer (2019) to make it considerably larger. There are up to three couples sharing this space at a time, if suites are rented out separately, allowing for couples to afford being steps to the Bucerias beach at an affordable price.

Beautiful property!
Beautifully maintained property two blocks from the beach and close to shopping and restaurants! Jeff the property manager ensured that all our questions were answered. Frances kept the house spotless during her visits. She was also very careful to make sure we had our privacy which we appreciated. The view from the rooftop deck was gorgeous. We so appreciated Liana's communication and her attention to detail which made our 2018 Christmas in Bucerias incredibly memorable. Would highly recommend this property to families!

5 years going to Bucerias, wish i would have known about this property!!!!
Discovered Glenn and Liana's little slice of heaven right near the beach this trip and so glad we did. Impeccably kept, quiet, luxurious, was everything we wanted, this property has 3 suites, we had the lower suite off the pool, king bed, full kitchen, huge bathroom, tons of hot water, lounge area, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella provided. 1 block from the beach, easy walk to main area where you can enjoy the best of Bucerias restaurants and bars, live music. Glenn and Liana are "SuperHosts" lol, have been in Bucerias for years, they have tons of useful information on the best beaches and venues for music and food., 2 thumbs way up!!!!! See you before May!!!!!!

Perfect! better than the photos.
The town of Bucerias was wonderful with lovely local spots to eat & shop. There is a great market about 20-25 minute walk from the house with local vendors. As long as you have your bartering hat on, you can get some great deals! Liana's house was spectacular! It is better in person than the photos and honestly could not have asked for a better spot. It is quite large and there are three separate areas to it. Great for families or couples. We were 5 girls and it worked out perfectly for us. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stoked, gorgeous washrooms with high ceilings and new additions to them. The outside pool area and dinning spot were my favourite. We spent a lot of time out near the pool area with gorgeous weather. We did not feel unsafe for one single minute. Jeff the property manager is awesome! he met us there, got us settled and even took two of my friends to the supermarket. Thanks Jeff! Also, Frances who came two times during our week to clean is so sweet. She was not in our way at all and left the place spotless. We had a great time & would go back at anytime. Beautiful quiet house!
The house was quiet and safe. One room is a little smaller than the other three rooms but they were all well appointed. It's close to the beach and the is an awesome pool in the house. Grocery stores are within walking distance. The owners can arrange taxis for you which is super convenient and cheaper than any shuttle option. Definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Fantastic retreat!
This property was awesome! 6 of us had a quick stay here for just 2 nights. The pool was great. The house was very clean, with high end finishings. The master shower was heavenly!! Jeff was very helpful and friendly. One thing of note is that the bedroom in the office is very small. We only had 1 guy staying in there, but could see how it might be too small for a couple or for a long stay. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be back! Thank you!!

The one bedroom is smaller, that is why we let people know there are four bedrooms, three larger bedrooms with king size beds and one that is much smaller with a double bed. Paradise Found!
I travelled with my husband and 3 girlfriends. Both my husband and I were celebrating our birthdays. Turning 50! Two of my friends arrived before us. The property manager Jeff went above and beyond helping the girls with shopping and getting settled in. All of us were amazed at the size of the property. So many lovely places to enjoy. There weren't enough days to truly enjoy them all! The pool was awesome. I enjoyed swimming or just lounging with a good book. There were of course a few dance parties that broke out around the pool as well. There was an amazing outdoor seating area with a covered palapa were we enjoyed breakfast. Corner store nearby with fresh produce and wonderful eggs. Bucerias was filled with wonderful people. I cannot say enough about the citizens of this quaint town near Puerto Vallarta. So many great places to eat nearby, and the beach is a mere 2 blocks away. We will definitely be coming back. If you are second guessing yourself about renting this place, don't. Book now!

Excellent Place To Rent
I would highly recommend this property to relax and have fun in Bucerias. Great location & close to the beach, shopping & excellent restaurants!! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen great and the pool is awesome. Liana responded right away and was very kind & professional. Oh, I can't forget Jeff & Francis who took great care of the property!
