"The Rufugio del Mar was a beautiful property. We stayed in building 2 which only had 7 units. They all had their own kitchen and bedroom/s. The staff were super friendly and the pool and gardens were immaculate. I would recommend staying on the second floor if possible as the lower units can be a little dark and do absorb a bit of noise from the above units. I love the palapas in their private beach area, the pool and grounds are very well kept and the outside of the building looks great for its age. Karen’s is on the property which is very convenient.
