Very nice property. Customer parking is not close to entrance and maybe difficult to access if you cannot go up an incline. A night the pathway from the parking to the entrance is not well lit. Breakfast is pricey but very good. $65.00 including tip for 2 people for eggs and bacon.

We’ve been here a couple of times before. The setting is absolutely gorgeous but the resort definitely needs a refresh in every way. Rooms needs to be air conditioned or have fans that work. The restaurants need to be open every day. The coffee shop needs to be open. How can you run a hotel when half your amenities are not available yet you still pay full price for the room. They were definitely understaffed like so many hotels all over. This could so easily by a 5star hotel with a little help.

This resort is in dire need of updates. Finished in 2004, it probably hasn't had any work done since - which is a shame because the potential to be a top-notch resort again is there. Aside from the usual repairs, furniture, paint and equipment (an ice machine would be nice and for God's sake AIR CONDITIONING!!! - the rooms become unbearable in the afternoon). There appears to be management/staffing issues (ie. restaurant service options) and I feel for the employees there that are doing their best to provide good service, but I have to question whether neglect from ownership is the root cause? While we enjoyed our stay overall, I probably wouldn't come back until after the above issues had been addressed.

We had a really lovely 2 night getaway at Poets Cove with our Family! The staff were all so very lovely, accommodating, sweet & helpful....like old friends! I had the privilege to go & have the Glow services at the spa & Jill was amazing!! We will hopefully be back for more visits if life allows.

I had seen a lot of mixed reviews of this property but it ended up being wonderful. The balcony and views from the Kings Suite are all amazing, the restaurant had great food and the flowers are grounds around the property were immaculate. There was an issue with the pool and gym before we arrived but we were notified and it was resolved by the end of our first day there. Would love to come back and visit again!

His property could be excellent except they opt to rent out the damaged cabins while other cabins sit empty. The window was broken the fridge didn’t work it wasn’t cold at all and there were huge ants that they knew about because there was ant traps at the doors.

The view from our room was beautiful. Food was delicious in the onsite restaurant, bed was comfortable too. They needed to have done some spring cleaning as there was moss & weeds growing on our patio. We were placed in the room right under the stairs to the restaurant and the backside of the elevator, not sure why when the place wasn’t at full capacity.

My wife and I had a really pleasant break at Poets Cove. We travelled during off-season which meant limited options available for food, entertainment and touristy activities. We saw numerous reviews that indicated the resort was in a poor state BUT our experience was definitely not the same. The room and facilities were really good (we noted a couple of shabby chairs in the room - but not sufficient to detract from our overall experience). Will definitely go back to this site - considering a family vacation to one of the cottages/villas.
