"We arrived quite late after our flight from Stanstead. We could not get any food or drink at the hotel so had to try and find somewhere in the quiet village. The room was tired and scruffy as was the rest of the hotel. There is a sea view that is very nice but you also look over the pool that is empty apart from dirty rain water and some rubbish. "First impressions were good, lovely, clean & well kept hotel. Dont think it had been open long this season as when meal times came the food was shocking & no choice, you got what you were given! On our 2nd night a coach full of Arabic tourists arrived and all of a sudden everything sprang to life, thank god they turned up. Weather was awful but clearly that is not the hotels fault but there was no bar but the open pool bar available so we had to take our drinks and sit in reception, not great!!...
