Lovely hotel in a beautiful village but short drive to Inverness. Staff are very friendly, rooms were recently renovated and the food was lovely. It really punches above its weight.

Great room and location

Warm welcome and friendly staff. Our room was huge with a separate bath and shower. Enjoyed food in the beer garden which was excellent. Quiet room and a good breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Priory Hotel. It's a nice, quiet location with a great breakfast included in the rate. However, what I loved the most was the staff. In particular, I want to thank Iren at the front desk again. I arrived at the hotel late at night, and the kitchen was already closed. Out of pure kindness, Iren decided to make me a sandwich herself so I could eat. If that isn't amazing customer service and going the extra mile, I don't know what would be! Great stay, 100% recommended.

Good place to stay

Friendly staff at check in and throughout stay. Room was large, bathroom appeared recently refurbished. Beds were firm and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We had dinner both nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Welcoming, relaxed vibe

The hotel is in an excellent setting with ample free parking close by. Our room was spacious and comfortable but with some aspects requiring attention eg stains on the carpet. All staff were welcoming, efficient and professional and breakfasts were excellent. There was good wifi in the room even though a long way from the main public areas. We enjoyed our stay in the Priory Hotel and would not hesitate to recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

lights, yes, no!

everything was tpp quality except bedside lights which were a hassle finding the switches which are on the UNDERSIDE of the mounting and not on the faceplate as one would expect. Also, one of the reading lights kept going on and off most of the night; most irritating.

Priory Hotel, Beauly

Two criticisms: ultra basic tea and coffee provision. Only horrible powdered ‘Nescafe Original’ coffee sachets provided. No decaf, no drinkable coffee. Only Tetley breakfast teabags. No fruit tea or decaf alternatives. ONE Small packet containing 2 biscuits provided between 2 guests. In bathroom fixed handwash beside sink and fixed conditioning shampoo in shower. No shower gel or soap provided so have to use shampoo to wash with in the shower. Why is room provision so ultra basic when rest of hotel experience is so good?

It is a 2 prong sword, we loved the location, the staff were amazing, the hotel is clean but the rooms are sub par. We got a superior room, it is just old and not keep up which is a shame. The other reason it didnt get a great score is the parking or should I say lack of.
Shelf missing that's called maintenance, old is ok but not lazy maintenance.
