We really enjoyed our stay at Beaufort Hotel. This was our dog's first beach trip, and the hotel is super pet friendly. We even took him to the hotel bar to enjoy some music. The only thing I dislike about the hotel is that unless you pay for valet service, you have to walk about a half mile to your car.

This is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms. We just had a bad experience that really ruined our stay. When we first checked in, the staff that greeted us could not be more unwelcoming. I asked if we can get a room in a high floor and her response was, well I am not sure what you paid for this room but to upgrade, it is $1,000. I thought it was very condescending. We picked this hotel even though it was &125 more a night than others in the area because of the reviews. Then, the key card did no open the door to the building, when we got back to the desk and the same lady, said, well… did you put the card to the box. ? Implying we are idiots. My husband said not only we did that, someone who worked at the hotel tried it and said it is not programmed correctly. She fixed it and it was ok after that. Needless to say, totally set the tone for our stay. Then at night, we decided to have dinner at 34. Hotel was very busy and were told 8:15 reservation. We said that is ok. Asked for a table at the window. 8:15 we were seated but by the kitchen which was very loud. We asked to be moved, and they moved us. However, our food did not actually come until 9:15. It was cold. Manager immediately gave us a discount on the bill and apologized. I think it was good that the manager have the power to do service recovery but I think at that point, we were just upset about one thing after another. Room was comfortable and clean. Shower is great. Towels were really great quality.

It was such a wonderful stay. We actually were at another hotel prior to this one and we’re not happy and found this gem and we’re so happy. The golf carts made going to front Street really easy. It was literally a straight shot to the restaurant and everything. Staff were great and very friendly. My family and I will probably come back.

Didn't like- Front desk staff at check in on April 12 at approximately 5pm. Very rude to me and a staff member she was talking with! Dining staff indifferent. Valet pushing to use them or park one quarter of a mile away. Then we discovered parking right beside the hotel! The hotel is surrounded by manufacturing/commercial properties, which mostly appear to be closed. Liked- Room was clean and quiet. Housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. The property has lots of potential, but needs to improve their staffing.

I was exceptionally pleased by Beaufort Hotel, indeed it feels closer to a four star than a definite three star hotel when it comes to the room interiors, which I though well done (nautically sensitive as hoped for from the location without making one feel like a sailor). The only aspect that needs improvement is the self-parking. It is further than one would expect from the hotel and part of the way is unpaved with little signage confirming that it is the place. I and other guests were a bit off-put by this.

This hotel was beautiful and had a very beautiful and relaxing view of the water. Their bar and restaurant were awesome as well and the staff was very friendly. Self parking was about a 2-3 min walk which wasn’t bad but felt unnecessary considering the parking they had available on site.

As a paying guest you are required to pay $15 per day valet to park close to the hotel. Otherwise you have to drop your luggage off and then drive down the road to another off site parking lot and then walk down the road to get back to the hotel. Not ideal especially if weather in inclement which it was during my stay.

The Beaufort Hotel is beautiful. We barely want to leave once we’ve checked in, because we’re so comfortable in the hotel room, and have a stellar bar and restaurant directly on site.

Convenient. Good rooms. Cleaning staff sweet. Not much in the way of amenities. No one to help you with luggage. Shuttle a struggle to get an appointment. Restaurant staff and servers were great. Food decent. Good location, but probably high priced for what you get.

34 Degrees Beaufort Hotel is a hidden gem. This is our second stay and most likely our only stay when it's just my husband and I. The customer service is always on point, rooms are always clean and fresh, the housekeeping staff are amazing and make certain your room is refreshed throughout your stay, and the property is immaculate. Walking, Golf cart and/or a bike distance away from beautiful downtown Beaufort on a nice day. Again, very picturesque and highly recommend booking while visiting Beaufort, NC. Y. Childs

Great hotel and town!
The hotel and town are wonderful. Our only complaint is with the strangely hard and uncomfortable pillows on the bed. They tried to resolve our concern by bringing us 2 throw pillows, but that wasn't really a comfortable solution at all. My husband used his sweatshirt as a pillow. There was a leak under our shower door, but that was quickly fixed for us! Dinner at 34 North was delicious! The valet and front desk staff were very helpful and responsive.

We have stayed at the Beaufort hotel on a number of occasions and keep coming back :-) The rooms are comfortable and updated with great beds and showers. The main area of the hotel is a spectacular and inviting open space with quality restaurant, bar, and breakfast area. The servers are largely local and bring such professional charm to the experience. It’s a reasonable value, and always a delight!

Lovely hotel and a beautiful location
The hotel is clean and roomy. Rooms are well appointed and spacious and have everything you need. Many outdoor deck areas available to sit and look at the beautiful water views. Restaurant was good. Valet was quick and efficient and very friendly. Will stay again.

Good hotel but weird setup
Great hotel but there’s no parking lot they have a lot that you can park in but there’s easily a 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot to the front desk. Terrible setup. The hotel itself is great.

The hotel was nice however the parking proximity to the hotel rooms was not very good. It was confusing as where to unload. The parking lot was a distance and there were no valet carts available. There were no amenities in the room such as a bottle of water. The hotel is trying to be eco friendly and yet plastic cups were in the room. They allow dogs and charge a lot per night for them and yet there were no pet waste bags. It was pouring rain and the areas around the exits and room “patios” had giant muddy spots and no mats or the like to wipe dirty paws on. It was a fair stay.
