Besides being a great property, it is hard to imagine a better location to stay when visiting all the Normandy attractions. Short walk to the tour pickups. Short walk to shopping and dining.

The place was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. A bit off the beaten path for walking around Bayeux. Breakfast was limited and not totally fresh. Breakfast cost and parking fees on property was a bit high for the value.

This quiet hotel was within walking distance to everything, but also far enough from the center of the historic town so that it was quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely, large room.

Highly recommend! Perfect location and unique.
Perfect location - parked at hotel and was able to walk everywhere, lovely helpful staff - let us know about a holiday concert at the cathedral, wonderful and unique hotel room in a beautifully remodeled school building.

Great place to stay!
Beautiful Hotel! With history and the staff is great! Only place to stay if your within 100miles of it. Love this hotel, room is clean, modern. Bayeaux only challenge is more active restaurants for tourists.

Great Normandy Stay
Great hotel. Centric but quiet area. Recently renovated rooms, comfortable beds. Excellent personnel, specially the front desk attendant! Also really good parking area.

Easy check in. They have done an amazing job of renovating this historical property and making extremely comfortable, and modern, soundproof rooms. The use of energy saving features was also appreciated, including the pathway to the town. Breakfast had a good amount of choice and was convenient, although the most expensive in all of our three week stay in Europe. Very convenient to all of the sites.

This is a gem in the middle of Bayeux. An old school house that has been totally refurbished with all the modern amenities. The owners were so attentive to our every need. They even drove us to charge our car. Highly recommend!

A beautifu hotel in a great location in Bayeux, within walking distance of cathedral, Tapestry, restaurants and shops. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Our suite was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. There was a very good selection at breakfast, including eggs, cheeses, fruits and pastries. Thank you all for a perfect 3 night stay and we hope to return one day.

What a beautiful property in a very charming town. The owners have done an incredible job of transforming an old school building into a beautiful hotel. Nice size rooms and modern bathrooms. Peaceful, well manicured grounds with incredible views of the Cathedral. Very personable, on site owners and an excellent location to walk into town for meals and drinks. Don't waste time looking for another hotel. If you are going to be in the Normandy/Bayeux area book this hotel.

Wow!! We were so impressed with the Belle Normandy. Our hostess, Valerie greeted us with a hug and was t So friendly and helpful. When we arrived on a Sunday evening and there weren't many dining options available in town. Valerie quickly prepared a delicious charcuterie platter for us, which we enjoyed in the beautiful courtyard. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We loved the charm and chart of the property. Valerie told us the owner had refurbished a very old boys school and turned it into the lovely hotel. They did an amazing job and the entire property was just gorgeous. We greatly appreciated the breakfast buffet- delicious and very reasonably priced. Can't recommend this property enough.

This was a great property for a couple of nights. The bed was great and the bathroom was modern and quite spacious. Hosts were delightful and the setting, in the town, was quiet and very relaxing. Highly recommend Belle Normandy !

Great location and facility
What a great place! We chose this place because it was in the village - and we could walk around this charming little town. Even better, they were hosting a light festival on the back side of the church to music ~ even our teenage boys were impressed! Great location, and easy access to visit Omaha Beach, Point du Hoc and even Mont St Michel. The rooms were very spacious - we had two family suites, and were very pleased with the accomodations.

This is a lovely place to stay in the heart of Bayeux! The location is perfect -- walking distance from museums, landmarks, the cathedral, and restaurants. The staff was amazing and helped us plan our stay and the rooms and grounds are charming and extremely comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great stay at the Belle Normandy Hotel. Beautiful newly refurbished property- very close to town. The hotel manager - Valerie is a treasure and took care of our every need. We would highly recommend staying here as a base for Normandy D-Day attractions, Bayeux and Mont St. Michel. The rooms, grounds and the service were all superb!!

I cannot say enough about this amazing hotel and the wonderful young owners. The rooms are beautiful and the a/c makes it even more comfortable. The grounds are so pretty and there is a lovely patio to enjoy a cocktail on. Valerie was so wonderful to us- she knew just the right restaurants to recommend and made such wonderful cocktails (try the mojito- you wo t be disappointed!). The breakfast was so fresh and plentiful. We wish we could give the Belle Normandy more stars!!!!

This was a wonderful hotel. Very new and comfortable rooms. Staff was warm and inviting. Breakfast was filling and delicious. Located close to cathedral, tapestry and museums. Easy quick walk to dining and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay
Wonderful stay. Excellent service. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Very comfortable beds. Newly renovated.
