The overall experience was very good. The room was clean and updated, but felt a bit damp. The breakfast was good and parking was sufficient. I felt safe in the area and it was close to downtown Bardstown.

The property is near historic downtown where there are many restaurants and shops. It’s also centrally located to the numerous distilleries in the area. The price was reasonable, the facilities recently remodeled and the staff helpful about area restaurants, etc.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our stay at the Distill Inn. We grabbed dinner at one of the best Mexican restaurants we've ever been to right never door to the hotel and then spent the rest of our evening talking it up with Mary while she made us some of the best drinks we've had! I would definitely recommend staying here! We will be coming back soon!

In what looks to be an old Quality Inn property, the Distill Inn did renovation right! There is a clear design vision to bring what is quintessential to Bardstown and the general area, bourbon, into the hotel. Everything from color scheme to furniture, to general decor all work together to show the tradition of the area in such a way as to not be cliche or over bearing. It’s done in an upscale, respectable way. There is a bar in the property that offers rare bourbons, along with other various batches and cocktails. The rooms are basic, but clean. The design flair flows into the room making it seamless from the front desk, down the hall, and into your room. We did have a few concerns with our stay. First, the sink was a slow drainer. Easy fix. Reported so hopefully it will be addressed. Another issue was the door knob into our room. It was difficult to engage. Again, reported so hopefully will be addressed. There is no wardrobe so as a result no iron or ironing board… but I did read you can request one. I just think a wardrobe would be a sound investment for such a nice hotel renovation. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. Just enough to start your day. The health department recommended the pool not be used, so it’s shut down. I was able to get a very good rate on this room! I was skeptical when booking given the cost, but was thoroughly pleased upon arrival. This will be my go to hotel when in Bardstown. Surprised more people weren’t there.

The inn was in a location that felt safe, and was nicely decorated. It was in an area that was fairly quiet, given the proximity to main routes. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as places to buy groceries. The breakfast had hot & cold choices, and is probably a 6/10, compared to other places we've stayed while traveling.The beautiful main street and roundabout of Bardstown is what keeps us returning to the area.
