A More Affordable place to stay in Banff!
This place was a more affordable (but still not exactly a bargain!) place to stay right in Banff! You checkin at a fancier hotel down the street and they give you your keys and then you drive over to The Dorthy Motel.
It had 2 nice sized beds, a microwave, a small fridge (no freezer area), coffee pot/coffee and a tea kettle. The bathroom had lots of counter space and the shower was great! Only one small window in the room which was good for us so that it was nice and dark for sleeping. My only complaint was that the AC did not get very cold sadly.
It’s a quick 5 min drive to the restaurant/shop area. We just parked at the Bear Street parking garage which is free. The hotel also provides you with a free bus ticket but we didn’t use it.
Oh! Can’t forget the wacky floor! Haha. It seems so old compared to the rest of the room but it was fine!
