Very nice hotel near Hartford, CT. Nice and spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Outdoor pool was great for the hot day and there is a ping-pong table near the pool. Free tasty breakfast.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and recuperate, the Avon is it. The highlight is the outdoor environment: beautiful well-kept grounds with walking paths, multiple patios and sitting spaces, pool. There are also multiple indoor sitting spaces with lovely furniture, all kinds of games and books available, great for kids as wellThe rooms are spacious (including bathroom) with quality furniture. Great amenities, accommodating staff. Be sure to check it out!

Nice location, friendly staff. The rooms could use a facelift, especially the bathrooms. Also the AC unit is behind the drapes so climate control is challenging, and there must be a moisture problem because there was a big noisy dehumidifier floor unit in there.

Comfortable and convenient to Avon Old Farms school. Feels homey with games and snacks (good ones, not cheap ones). Great breakfast and restaurant. Across from North House which is also a great restaurant.

It's a beautiful and safe place to stay , this was our 2nd stay . Even though the beds are hard , very uncomfortable. Will not deter , to rebook another stay . I love this place , and the book flowers make such a sweet touch . The food smells so amazing , all staff are courteous and professional.
