George checked us in and did an excellent job. He was friendly and welcoming. The lobby of the hotel had lots of room to sit and visit. This was our first time staying at this chain so I'm hoping the issue with the room was an anomaly. The shower was NOT clean and the floors had not been vacuumed. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room because everything else was great. The staff member overseeing breakfast was cheerful and made sure each guest was taken care of. She was working hard and made this part of our stay pleasant.

The staff is very defensive. When I first checked one of the front desk staff messed up with my room and when I told them about it they automatically started to blame Expedia but later realized one them made a mistake. The breakfast is awful and you have to pay for it. It’s better to eat somewhere else. Also they do not clean the rooms if you’re staying more than one day unless you tell them. It very unusual because every hotel stayed at would clean the rooms every day. I personally would not stay in the this hotel and opt for a different one in Austin.
