Beautiful and romantic place! A couple of blocks from the Central Plaza, the hotel counts with a friendly staff in both the hotel and the restaurant (Christian & Rodrigo, excellent service). Delightful typical breakfast and gourmet meals. Rooms and general areas are impeccably clean and nicely set up with the purpose of making guests feel welcome. Gardens well kept and nicely designed with taste. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back soon.

I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and this is one of my favorite. We stayed in the Blue Room, and it was stunning. The entire property is enchanting with picturesque nooks where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail, a read or a chat. The pool is situated amongst the open air dining area and was quite chilly, but we still enjoyed lounging by it and dipping our feet in. Perhaps not best for a full on swim though especially because most days it’s closed for swimming after 11 AM. The included breakfast is tasty, and the bar offers a fantastic list of cocktails. Highly recommend this property.

The property is beautiful, rooms are awesome. Really enjoyed eating in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. A few downers for the price: one night a loud party was going on behind the hotel, the music shook the windows of our room. They spoke to the other hotel and they said they would turn down the music by 10, it was 10:30 they lowered it a bit and it went on until past 12. Second they offer a boxed breakfast if you need to leave early-despite confirming twice, they forgot to pack us one. It is a great hotel-for the price you expect a bit more attention to detail to be truly 5 stars.

I would not recommend this hotel due to the noise in the property next door. We were looking for a nice an quiet place to stay, but this hotel did not meet the expectations. If you want loud music pumping through your ears late night, stay here. Otherwise, stay away. By far the worst hotel experience in about 20 years for me.

Comfortable and convenient
Only stayed 1 night so this is not a comprehensive review - very friendly staff and good breakfast though. I was able to walk to all major sites and there are several good restaurants walkable in under 1km. I did utilize the transportation from the airport to Antigua as well which was timely and the driver was trustworthy.

I spent my husband's birthday here and stayed in the grand suite, i got the birthday package, the staff went above and beyond and really made him and us feel special, the room was so beautiful with roses everywhere, flowers snd champagne, lit candles not to mention the beautiful antique architecture, Guatemalan people are very kind and welcoming. I asked for ballons and they obliged my request , we had a late arrival and the taxi was there waiting as well as the room. I recommend you choose them for your honey moon or anniversary. The hotel is beautiful with great food and restaurants. Gracias mi amigos!

El restaurante y la comida fue la estrella de la estadía, muy rico todo. Sin embargo, el hotel como tal deja mucho que desear, aún considerando el área de bosque, encontramos muchos insectos en la habitación, incluso en toallas, cama y accesorios del mismo. Cosa que se mencionó y no se hizo nada al respecto o bien, no les importó . La habitación podría mejorar la iluminación y aumentar las comodidades básicas, ya que el precio es bastante elevado y careció muchos detalles que tienen otros hoteles de categoría media y alta ej. Mini bar, A/C, jacuzzi más amplio, Smart TV.

I called to ask if I could cancel my stay due to a family member getting Covid 3 days before the stay. I was told by the hotel that it’s not up to them and that I needed to ask hotels.com if it was allowed. Hotels.com said they were happy to but needed the hotel’s permission so they called the hotel and the manager at the hotel wouldn’t agree to the cancellation. I completely understand the if the hotel couldn’t cancel given their policy but very annoyed that they lied to me when I called and wasted my time.

The property is beautiful but the hotel room floor was dirty. The waiters were very kind but but front desk staff wow.. just horrible. I have never experienced staff as rude, disrespectful as the female front desk manager. I will never go back to this hotel.

First let me say the low rating of meson panza verde was only because of the NOISE! I didn’t read the reviews and therefore did not see that has been a continual problem! They have live music every night…. We were not informed of this! We stayed in room #7 which was right above the music and the sound came right into our bathroom windows! On weekends the music plays until 11 pm…. During the week it usually stopped by 10! THIS WAS MISERABLE! Every thing else about the hotel was wonderful ….. beautiful room with our own private patio! The staff and people at the hotel couldn’t be nicer…. Breakfast was delicious and they even made me an almond milk latte! I think the hotel needs to decide if it wants to be a club or a hotel cause it’s definitely not succeeding in the later! Maybe at least informing people on the website or on check in about the music so a conscious decision can be made to stay there! Thank you to all the wonderful people working there who made our stay so enjoyable!

This place is amazing. The breakfast was always delicious. The grounds are well kept. The workers are very kind and they make you feel comfortable.I can’t wait to return.

This property was absolutely stunning. There was a wedding next door but quieted down by 9pm which was no problem.

If you are looking for a beautiful upscale boutique hotel in Antigua this is a gem. Fabulous restaurant, incredibly beautiful and peaceful setting, fantastic rooms... I truly enjoyed staying in this luxurious, small hotel within 5 blocks of the main plaza. Absolutely worth the price.
