"Everything about the house was amazing! We don’t own a boat so the owners provided us with a few local options, we chose Wagoner’s Marina. It was was easy to get to and the process there was smooth. Parked our car, loaded the boat and headed out to the island. The ride was about 5 minutes and easy to navigate. On arrival the owner greeted us and took our luggage right back to the house for us. "Location is within a short walk to the village which allowed us to explore, revist and connect with our new favorite businesses; however, the property was literally encased by boats. Boats in the front yard concelled the cottage, Boats on either side of the property were parked in the drveways which caused confusion, and jostling for parking on property. Inside was welcoming and clean which provided an nice retreat for a long weekend stay."

"Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. Parking is a breeze. All photos posted are accurate & true. It's a charmer!"

The assistance getting our luggage to the house was so helpful. We enjoyed much of the island, walking and biking. Our large family felt very at home. There was plenty of room and the house has so much charm and character. Everyone we ran into knew the house and spoke so kindly of the family. We can’t wait to go back."

"Loved being next to the Boat Tours as well as the private dock with lounger chairs. The pool was closed for repairs but theres plenty to do in walking distance to offset this. This is our 2nd time staying here but we will continue to come back. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, 10/10 would recommend. You can't beat their location. "
