"Stayed for a week at Casa Roo with wife and two teenage kids. The house is great (ideal for a family of 4), the pool and ocean amazing, and the staff (Hugo and Ana, in particular) were terrific. We enjoyed the services of the personal chefs on two days as well. Really, five stars all the way around. The only negative, as some others have noted, was the ongoing construction at the house next door. The good news is they didn't work on the weekend and they generally never started before 9 am and...

"A few things to know about this house: the top level is only accessible via a spiral staircase which make it very difficult to carry bar b que items up and down. The bedroom on the pool level is accessible via the garage and not part of the house also very small."

"Excellent staff, they were friendly and met all our needs. Magnificent property. Close to snorkelling, many restaurants, grocery stores and comparably priced convenience stores and shopping. Loved our stay touring around with the car or just hanging around the property and cooking our meals."

"This property is no where near Akumal beach. They need to change that. If you stay here know you will need a car. There is nothing near you. The actual home is beautiful. But!! Get some paper towels and cleaner and other cleaning supplies in the unit. It’s very spartan. "

"It's a huge, modern glass home that will make you feel like a movie star. It's located in a gated community that requires checking in with security at the gate. It only takes a second, but that gives you a good feeling about security and safety. It was nice to have a garage for the car and a pool to relax! Very private back yard and quiet at night. We really enjoyed the house a lot!"

"The rules have significantly changed in the owner needs to update the online listing as well as the check in document. All the extras listed for the nearby resorts are no longer available. The check in process is completely different, now using QR codes instead of response. We went to ask for help at the main office and they were extremely rude to us. We used far less electricity than the daily allowance, but the property manager still tried to trick us into paying for it. She pretended it was a...

"My friend and I stayed here for a few days and it was perfect for what we needed! The beach club across the street was perfect for a bite and we walked to the Akumal beach area and back. The condo is quiet and spacious, had everything we needed. I highly recommend!"

"The location is absolutely gorgeous, if you don't mind a built-up area. The snorkelling just off the beach is great. Seeing the sunrise from the bed was a great experience. Unfortunately, everything felt a bit old and not really clean. We had to wash all dishes before we could use them. The bed sheets did not feel as fresh as in other places. The owners are very nice and were very flexible when we mixed up the check out time and did not vacate early enough. Thanks for a great stay!"

"When we arrived we only had about 1/4 of a big jug of water. I emailed property and were told water is on us. So we of course bought our own. However on the day we left the guy brought in a brand new full water! One of the bathroom lights were out, the master bathroom sink was plugged they came to " fix" it and didnt. "When we booked the property it said it was 4 min walk to the beach, that was a lie it was a 15 min drive, there were supposed to be restaurants within walking distance but there was nothing, there was no hot water, lots of broken furniture, kitchen amenities broken, safe did not work. No view at all"

Esta en una ubicacion hermosa, el mar esta a 1 min caminando es una area privada por lo que teniamos toda la playa para nosotros, vimos tortugas, mantarrayas perfecto lugar para Padel y snorkel, ademas hay un beach club, cerca hay muchos cenotes y tulum no es muy lejos. La atencion que nos dio el Host fue excelente, no hizo recomendaciones muy buenas. Pasamos muy lindos días...
