Villa Thromila is a 180 sq. m residence situated in the southern coastal area of Souda in Rethymno prefecture. The villa is the best choice for large groups or families!

The villa is actually two independent attached houses that you can rent as one! It is a two story building in the total of 180 sq. meters and furnished in a modern and minimal style, it can accommodate 12 people in beds. Staying in our villa offers you the advantage of both having vacations with friends and having your private place for you and your own family at the same time.

The villa is located only 2 km away from the organised sandy beach of Souda and 1.2 km away from the unorganised Fotinari Beach.

At Plakias town 3km away, you can find a variety of shops and markets.? Totally isolated but close to everything, our villa offers a variety of facilities for the whole family.

Layout
Entering each building, on the first floor there is a spacious open plan area which consisting of the living room with 45 smart TV with Netflix and Bluetooth speaker, the indoor dinning area and a fully equipped kitchen of top quality fixtures. From the living room area there is a direct access to the veranda with outdoor dining table. There is also a WC with shower. In addition, on the top of the living room area there is a loft which has 2 single beds, which can also be joined together to form a double bed if needed.


Reaching the ground floor from stairs, guests can find the 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub. Both bedrooms have direct access to the pool and barbecue area. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other one has 2 single beds, which can also be joined together to form a double bed based on your preferences.


That means you will stay in a villa with 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, 2 dining areas, 4 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and 2 lofts, having enough space and facilities for everyone!


Outdoor area
The spacious, beautifully landscaped, 400 sq.m. outdoor area of Villa Stone Thromila offers a variety of facilities which include:
-A private, 35 sq.m. swimming pool where you can enjoy the stunning sea views from. The pool can also be heated with an additional daily charge for the entire stay, upon request.
-The pool terrace is furnished with sun beds, outdoor swing, an outdoor shower and umbrellas for relaxing in the pool terrace and the balconies.
-Fully equipped, shaded, outdoor barbecue facilities with sink and small fridge.
-A shaded al fresco dining area under the pergola.
-A ping pong table
-Parking space for several inside the Villa premises
-The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering 100% privacy and safety to our guests!

A few remarks It is written as 4 bathroom. To mine opion it is better to change this in 2. The next door villa stone Thromila is very close. This can cause some some problems with noise from the neighbours . The rest was perfect Thanks

We stayed as 2 families for 2 weeks. Villa Thromila is a gem and we cannot speak highly enough about the villa, the location and the attention to detail by the owner Stelios. The property is well equipped, spotlessly clean and is in a location to die for. The views are beautiful and the Villa is superbly placed for beaches at Souda, Plakias and Damnoni. We were thoroughly spoilt by Margarita who brought us gorgeous home made cakes each time she came to clean. The configuration of the Villa works excellently and is ideal for 2/3 families providing plenty of privacy and /or flexibility. The children loved the pool and we can’t wait to go back.

Great villa and location
We stayed for a fortnight at Villa Thromila. There were 13 of us the first week, two families. Stellios had arranged for an extra bed. The layout of the villa worked well for us, with one family in each of the separate villas, but eating together either on one of the balconies or around the barbecue area. Initially there were only 6 sunbeds,(the area around the pool is not huge) but when we asked Stellios, he arranged for more to be brought for us. We were all adults, many young, so everyone wanted to sunbathe! This worked fine. We loved the laundry changes every 3 days, and the wonderful cakes which were delivered at the same time! The only other issue we had - a shower head which wasn't working properly - was sorted over a laundry change before we had even mentioned it. We spent a long time round and in the pool, playing lots of volleyball. We had been warned that it can be very windy in the area, and 6 days of the fortnight were like this. We had to be careful not to lose things over the villa boundary! It was good to have such a lovely villa and pool to be around on these days, as the sandier beaches were uncomfortable as the sand was whipped up, and no boat trips went on these days. We visited and enjoyed Souda beach, Damnoni, Schinaria but we really liked Plakias itself - specially the far end where the volleyball net is! We went to Preveli- be warned that the drive to Palm Beach is 5 km of very twisty narrow road, not great surface and a bit of a walk to the beach at the end. Or you can park at the top of the cliff and have a steep walk down. Might be better to go by boat! We did a boat trip to Frangikastello - just us on the afternoon boat from Tasomanolis, calling in at a couple of other beached on the way back and stops for snorkelling, then seeing the sunset from the sea. We all really enjoyed this. 350 euros for 11 of us. Loads of great places to eat out in Plakias, Sellia and Myrthos. Great holiday thanks!

Exceptional Villa in a beautiful, laid back area of Southern Crete
We have visited the Villa mid April 2017, two families with a total party of 10. The Villa was perfectly clean upon arrival and 100% fulfilled all our expectations. All of the stuff you are looking for in a vacation home is available (chairs, sun loungers, large outdoor grille etc.) and of good quality like very comfy matresses etc. In- and outside dining is available. This area in Southern Crete is more laid back compared to the north coast, very friendly people, moderate price level and a beautiful landscape (canyons, mountains, beaches etc.).

Tolle Villa mit herrlichem Meerblick und tollem Service
Sehr helle,moderne und gut ausgestattete Villa.Es ist praktisch ein Doppelhaus,die Terrassen über 3 Treppen miteinander verbunden,perfekt für zwei befreundete Familien,Wir sind nachts angekommen und vom Vermieter freundlich empfangen worden. Sogar Lebensmittel und Getränke waren vorhanden,nicht zu vergessen den Kuchen,Honig und Wein vom Vermieter:). Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir vom herzlichen Ausblick aufs Meer überwältigt,noch schöner als auf den Fotos! Alle 3-4 Tage wurde die Villa gereinigt,Betten wurden frisch bezogen und Handtücher gewechselt. Margarita,die Mutter vom Vermieter,brachte immer einen Kuchen für jede Familie,sehr lecker,dankeschön nochmal dafür Margarita:). Der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt,es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Den Strand und Plakias erreicht man mit dem Auto in ca.5 Minuten,wo man wirklich sehr gut essen kann. Der Urlaub war wirklich wunderschön und wir und die Villa ist sehr zu empfehlen! 2 perfekte Wochen Urlaub in einer tollen Villa
Wir kommen gerade zurück und haben mit 10 Leuten in der Villa gewohnt. Die Villa bietet alles was man braucht, um es sich gut gehen zu lassen und selbst zu versorgen. Da es allerdings extrem gute Restaurants in Plakias, Souda, Sellia und Myrthios gibt, haben wir außer das Frühstück die Mahlzeiten auswärts eingenommen. Der Grill, die Terrasse und der Pool sind allerdings sehr einladend und wir haben dort wunderbare Zeiten verbracht. Die Villa ist sehr sauber und wurde 2x pro Woche gereinigt bzw. Handtücher gewechselt. Und besonders zu erwähnen ist die tolle Versorgung mit Obst, Kuchen, Käse, Olivenöl und anderen griechischen Produkten, die die Mutter von Stelios uns vorbeibrachte. Super lecker! Vielen Dank dafür. Auch die Betreuung sowie Check-in etc., Tipps und Informationen von Kostas waren perfekt. Wir würden diese Villa auch wegen der guten Lage gerne wieder buchen.

Beautiful venue, great service
So if you‘re planning a vacation on Crete - that‘s your spot! Located in the south of Crete you‘re mostly safe from the notherly winds and the weather is significantly better than in the northern part of the island. The Villa itself is very clean, beautiful, new standard (just 4 years old) and has everything you need. Great pool, gorgeous view and it‘s not too far to Plakias (5min drive or a 30min walk) with its nice restaurants, shopping markets, doctors, pharmacies and everything else you might need. The contact with the agency (etouri) was tremendous, they keep you updated on things to explore in the area (even considering the weather forecast for your tours). Really great. The host (Margareta) was very kind, she took good care for us and even welcomed us with complementary homemade cakes, olive oil, honey and raki. It really felt like home. This is a 5⭐️ venue! No complaints.

Haus mit. Meerblick
Gute und umsichtige Betreuung, Wünsche wurden, schnell umgesetzt. Die Aussicht von den Terrassen auf das Meer sind beeindruckend, störend war die Geruchsbelästigung in den hinteren Souterrainszimmern und die Nähe zu dem Nachbarhaus.

Awesome Villa!
We visited the villa in August with 12 people and had an amazing stay. The owner was welcoming and even brought cake, when stopping by to clean! The only minor thing in an otherwise amazing and great stay: The offer to buy groceries to get us started wasn't completely fulfilled and we hat to get many things ourselves. That was a little stressful because we arrived late due to a delayed flight and only had little time to find the right shops .

Das moderne Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage mit tollem Meerblick. Man kann direkt vom Haus zu herrlichen Wanderungen starten oder die schöne Landschaft vom Liegestuhl am Pool geniessen. Die sehr freundlichen Vermieter sind stets hilfsbereit. Zweimal die Woche wurde das Haus gereinigt und die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Der selbstgemachte Kuchen von der Vermieterin ist ein toller Service und macht den Aufenthalt perfekt.

Villa Thromilla is a fantastic holiday location
We're from Germany and stayed at Villa Thromilla for one week in june 2018. The house and property were very clean and welcoming. Upon arrival we received freshly baked orange-cake, a basket of fresh local fruits, a bottle of local olive oil and a bottle of local Raki from the owners of the house. The entire house has air-conditioning that can be operated via remote control. Two bedrooms are located in the "basement" which is the same level as the fantastic pool. Another double-bed is located on the first floor above the kitchen area (The house has 3 levels). There is a balcony on the kitchen level and another one on the "basement"-level (this one also has a grill), all of which are perfect to relax or eat outside. The house is surrounded with typical cretan flora, all the neighbouring houses are at least 10-20 meters aways, therefore it is a calm and natural place, perfect for a holiday. Supermarkets, restaurants and the beach can be reached within only about 5 minutes by car. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is absolutely great, as is Crete itself. The house owner is always alvailable by phone and you can ask him for advice or help about everything. We can absolutely recommend Villa Thromilla as a holiday location.

Modernes Haus mit schönem Pool in wunderbarer, ruhiger Lage, trotzdem in der Nähe von Plakias
Wir (4 Erwachsene & 5 Kinder von 10-15 Jahren) haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa Thromila sehr genossen und haben uns von Beginn an "wie zu Hause" gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr modern und hell eingerichtet, der Blick von den Hügeln über die Olivenhaine aufs Meer ist herrlich. Die Photos auf fewo direkt geben einen sehr guten Eindruck des Hauses - es ist wirklich so schön. Die Betreuung vor Ort war perfekt - der Pool wird jeden morgen sorgfältig gereinigt und die sehr herzliche Mutter des Eigentümers brachte alle drei Tage einen neuen herrlichen Kuchen für uns alle mit! Eine wirklich tolle Überraschung und alles Andere als gewöhnlich. Wir können das Haus von ganzem Herzen empfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen!

Wunderschönes Haus in guter Lage und super Vermietern
Die Bilder des Inserats lügen nicht. In Wirklichkeit sieht das Haus mindestens so gut aus wie auf den Bildern. Bei der Ankunft waren die Vermieter bereits am Haus. Als Begrüssungsgeschenk gab es selbstgemachten Raki, Honig, Olivenöl und Kuchen (sowie einen weiteren Kuchen jedes Mal wenn im Haus geputzt wurde). Der Ausblick über das Meer beim Frühstück ist atemberaubend. Das Haus ist geräumig, gut ausgestattet und hat einen schönen Pool. Der Service während des gesamten Aufenthalts war super. Es ist immer jemand erreichbar sollte einmal etwas nicht funktionieren. (In unserem Fall hat die Klimaanlage mal gestreikt). Ausserdem werden auf Wunsch eine Vielzahl an Ausflugszielen und Aktivitäten vorgeschlagen. Das Städchen Plakias und dessen Strand ist gut geeignet zum entspannen. Zu Fuss vom Haus dauert es etwa 40 Minuten (eine kleine Wanderung bergab), mit dem Auto sind es nur wenige Minuten. Zusammengefasst lässt sich sagen, dass das Haus (mit den wirklich guten Vermietern) sehr empfehlenswert ist. Für unsere Gruppe war es ein gelungener Urlaub auf Kreta.
