Check-in process was lengthy, the eating area was small comparing to the size of the property, often waiting to get in. Once in, there were long lines to get food. They often ran out of the popular food, leaving you to eat other stuff you didn’t necessarily want. We were constantly approached by their personnel selling timeshares. Getting to the property is a little sketchy and not well maintained. The beach was great despite having lots of rocks.

Overall, this is a nice place to stay - beautiful grounds, pools, our room was very clean, good food. Staff were friendly and attentive (every where)! My only suggestion would be to add some fans at the bottom part of the Buffet, for some good air circulation as it can get pretty hot in there and although some breeze from the sea gets in, it is not sufficient.

The rooms were clean though a little dated. Breakfast was great but the options during lunch and dinner could be better. That said, the staff is friendly and the sunset views are spectacular. All and all we enjoyed ourselves and would happily return.

I really liked the landscape and view of the whole property. I loved the beach area that it has a wall/barrier made out of rocks making it look like a huge swimming pool in the ocean where you feel safe, secure, and not worry about drowning in the water. The reason I'm giving them a "4 stars" is because the accommodations itself are outdated (old fashioned). They're so old fashioned that the doors for every room still take a real metal key 🔑 .

The resort has great intentions but the bedroom sheets were dirty and the pillows had previous persons perfume. The activities staff are rude. Then the place was inconsistent with the timeframes for kayaking. The food was alright it could’ve been better. The drinks as well, they wouldn’t mix the drinks properly.

We haven’t come back to Decameron since 2015 and held on to nostalgia. The pools and beach are nice and the drinks were great. Staff were nice and very helpful. My three notes- the check in felt like we were waiting at hogwarts waiting to see what house we were in. I’ve never in my life had to wait in a conference room to check in. That was new for me. Then the ac did not work well and the room was moist? It smelled like mildew. And our sheets were WET almost like they didn’t dry them fully. Just very outdated. Overall I’d give it a 6/10

It was a great experience overall I would say food has its days where it was good and days that was not. Staff is always friendly and helpful once checked in. I would say the main pool or area 1 is ideal for people who want to have fun and area 2 is more family friendly but both overall should have more control of what people are doing to make sure they stay appropriate. Room was always clean and comfortable with AC I would recommend this place for young people or adults only it’s not a kids friendly environment at all times.
