"We had a partial ocean view room on the 21st floor facing Diamond Head with a great view of Waikiki. The Park Shore Waikiki blocked our view of Diamond Head. The staff was very friendly. The location is EXCELLENT!! We checked out and hiked Diamond Head (reservation required) and left our luggage stored at the hotel. That worked out great since we were boarding our cruise ship much later in the day."

"It was Definitely centrally located with most any need/want within reasonable walking distance. Many amenities were very close. Our ‘View’ was Very limited and left much to be desired (as in an Actual VIEW, of more than the wall of the next building (about 6-8’ away from our balcony). All else was fine. Though A hot tub and longer open hours for the pool would have Really improved our stay. Still, everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. A solid 4 out of 5 I’d say. 👍🌈"

"There was construction work along the Kalakaua road outside the hotel. A lot of pot holes on the road covered by large metal sheets. Very unsightly"

"Staff was so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for the beach, dining and walkable to anything. Parking was not available due to lot being full and our Suburban rental was too big. Would absolutely stay here again! "

"I did enjoy the convenience of being close to the beach, however if you are a light sleeper I would not recommend this place as the noise from the daily karaoke bar that closes at 2AM is quite loud, not to mention the windows are only barred by metal pans. Sound travels very easily."

"Fabulous property/location! Amazing staff, great location, and lovely pool. Beds are comfortable and the soap/lotion amenities smell SO good! Would like to see the rooms upgraded a little, carpets are a bit old."

"This hotel was in the center of everything. Really no need for a car. The breakfast most of all is what got me hooked. Full hot breakfast bacon eggs waffles. If you didn’t like something. You just didn’t like it. This place was excellent. Would recommend. And would definitely stay again Hospitality at the desk was exceptional. And the valet parking. The attendance were amazing. "

"It's an old hotel being built in 1964. Our room was spacious and the ac worked well to combat the heat and humidity. There was no daily house cleaning and we had to ask for fresh towels. Valet parking was $45/night with in/out privileges. That's steep on top of tipping attendant each time you retrieve car. Location of hotel is convenient for walking to Ala Moana center and to Waikiki. "

"This property is walkable to local attractions. They offered a breakfast that was a plus. Air conditioner didn’t work first night but they fixed that."

"We arrived at 8pm from Texas hungry and aggravated from the airport and first motel. The front desk clerk was kind and let me know there was food for another hour in the room and downstairs and we got parked and were relaxing with full belly’s by 9 am. Really great place, room, and food. Outstanding front clerks!!"

"Really good hotel. Stayed in Koa room which was spacious with well equipped kitchen. Small pool on roof, but just a few minutes walk from a great beach. And really well located for shopping and restaurants in Waikiki. Valet parking very efficient, including when leaving for an early flight. I’m sure there are more luxurious places, but this was very good and excellent value. I’d stay again."
