Dump Hostel with poor condition shared facilities
We did not stay at the property as it was a hostel with shared facilities in diplorable condition! I was unaware that the property was a hostel & had shared bathrooms, I canceled our booking & requested a refund when I became aware this was the case. The management were difficult to deal with and unnecessarily insulting. They charged me the full price for the room after cancellation which is really poor form given the circumstances.

This is a hostel not a hotel!
We booked Rogers House for a 2 night stay thinking it was a hotel. We were given a central room no windows and dorm style single beds even though we had booked a double room. Bathrooms are all shared and are not great. If you are looking for a hostel it would be fine but certainly didn't meet our expectations. It was also expensive for a hostel. It was also very noisy not just because of the festival but from other guests - group of young girls - came in late and partied in the room next door until 4.30am. We checked out after the first day but had to pay for the 2 nights.

Overbooked and photos on website are not the hostel
We emailed the day before our arrival to find out about the nearest bus stop and to confirm our arrival. When we got there, the hostel was overbooked and we had to move to a pension nearby. They only accepted cash for payment. We didn't have a choice of pension as San Sebastián is fully booked in August (hotels.com was sending us to Biarritz... ) we had to accept the relocation. However, the pension didn't have laundry facilities nor kitchen so it ended up costing us much more. The photos you see on the website for Roger's house is not the actual hostel. It is the Place of the constitution which is a one-minute walk from the actual hostel. It is far from looking like that! It is located on the third or fourth floor of a run down building- no lift.

très bien placer aux centre de la vielle ville
l’accueil es très bien personne agréable et qui explique très bien, en Anglais et Espagnol. je suis dessus et très surprise qu'il ni ais pas de fenêtre dans les chambre, pas génial quand on es claustrophobe. la douche l'aise très a désirer. Les mur sont pas trop épais, donc vous entendez les autre client parler comme ci il était dans la même pièce que vous, le soir tard 1H du matin,c'es pas génial, mais le matin a 8h du matin ils s'avent venir taper a vôtre porte en vous disant je dors, j'en ais marre de vous entendre. Bref. Ce qui es très bien c'es qu'il y a un ascenseur( car c'es quand même aux 3 éme étage) et que on es directement aux cœur du centre ville et a 3 minute de la plage et du parc enfants, es des transport en commun. C'es une ville que je recommande a visiter.

Edificio muy viejo y nadie nos abrió.
No es un hotel. Es una casa muy vieja con un portal que parece abandonado. No contestaron al timbre. Había un papel pegado con un numero de movil, llamamos y nos dijeron que vendrían a abrirnos. No llegó nadie en media hora y nos fuimos. No puedo opinar sobre el estado interior, pero exteriormente deja mucho que desear. Aparte de que no pudimos alojarnos y tuvimos que buscar un hotel.
