My cc had been charged 3 hours prior to checking in. The front desk clerk denied that they received payment already & demanded to charge me again. When we got to the room it was filthy. One bed was messed up and appeared that someone had been laying on it. Both garbage cans were full with food & paper plates. The sidewalks & parking lots were dirty and the stairwell smelled disgusting. There were groups of people outside rooms hanging out. I felt very unsafe. I went back to the desk & spoke to a manager who agreed to let me check out & issued me a refund. It was now 10:30 pm & we had to find a new room.
