“House was comfortable and fireplace kept it warm and cozy. Great supply of firewood. Pizza oven worked well and sauna was perfect end to a day trekking. Kitchen had all the dinnerware, utensils and pans needed. Very well stocked. Good fishing at the lake.”

“A beautiful little cabin that has been cleverly made from a mix of new and repurposed materials. Had everything you needed for bedding and in the kitchen. Wifi was very patchy so definitely don’t plan to do any computer time. It’s best for just switching off and watching the birds across the bush line. Just magic.”

“The location has stunning views in every direction. Facilities provided were modern, clean, and in perfect condition. The hosts Mandy and Jacob are some of the friendliest people to come across. Their dog, Ziggy is the cutest. I recommend taking some good meat with you and good hiking gear for some great walks around the location. The kitchen had enough equipment to cook some good meals with the electric stove a handy companion. Firewood is available onsite.”

“We had an outstanding stay at Tinkersfield and can't wait to return. Usually the photos of a listing are better than real life however the opposite is true for this accommodation. The location is remote and quiet yet very easy to get to, and checking and directions were spot on. The design and layout is stunning and straight out of a style magazine (literally!) - we loved every part of it. Large bedroom and bathroom with a great dining and living space.
