We were given an accessibility room, which was somewhat larger than standard rooms. However the large bathroom had a sink that was too low, a toilet that was a little too high, and no shelf space at all for toiletries. The room itself was clean and well-lit. The beds were very comfortable. There were sufficient outlets for charging devices, plenty of hooks to hang jackets.and bags, and A/C. There is no breakfast facility, but Buddy provides free "snacks" in the morning for as long as supplies last. Croissants, small Danish, apples. Rooms are cleaned and towels replaced for free upon request. Staff was perfunctory but efficient. There is no staff on premises after 10 pm. The hotel is half a km from the Hauptbahnhof, and about 1 km easy walk to the Marienplatz and Rathaus. It's a no frills, self serve type of hotel, but it suited our purposes and we would stay there again.

This hotel is cute and the staff and processes were efficient, the room is just extremely small. It’s a very tight squeeze for two people with luggage so bear that in mind. The location was good about 15 min to main areas of Munich. Room was clean and comfortable besides the size was great. I expect a small room in Europe this one was just very very small

Room was good but we had windows overlooking the main street and it was really loud and difficult to sleep. Beds were not very comfortable. Perhaps a room towards the back would’ve been quieter. Location was convenient for our departure the next day.

The hotel is conveniently located in front of subway entrance. Good restaurants around the hotel. Great service from male staff in the lobby. He suggested us with good local German restaurants. Very helpful. Heard a fight at 4am from room next door. Sounded like someone was pushed into the wall. There was a leak around the windows allowing the water to come in, making window sills wet. There was black mold near the windows caused by the water leak.

The location and price of the hotel is the big selling point. Rooms are really small but ultra modern and every bit of space utilised. If you are looking for a romantic trip away then this is not the hotel for you... If you are looking for a central Base to explore Munich then this is ideal

Was amazing couldn't ask for more helpful and delightful staff. Checked in very early in the morning and was welcomed with a free breakfast and tea as well as some charming conversation from the desk clerk. Roomwas basically all brand new and for a substantially cheeper rate than everywhere else in Munich. All and all I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Munich

Good price, but comes with problems
The price was OK, but there are better options for the category near here. The room has everything you need, but some basic things just didn’t work out well on my trip: The bed is adjustable, but has been slept through as can be seen by the permanent indentation in the middle. The shower and s nice and modern, but takes about 3 minutes to get warm - not eco-friendly. The fan for the heating constantly turns on and off and makes a lot of noise while it is on, which disturbs you while sleeping. The TV lost its signal last night for about 10 minutes and then seemed to work fine thereafter. This may have only been my room, but this is normally indicative of larger problems. I won’t stay here next time I am in Munich.

Location
This hotel is a no frills hotel. However if you are looking for a clean comfortable safe location the Buddy Hotel is perfect. Location is ideal to the south old Munich(about 7minute walk) 15 minute walk from Munich central train station and subway right at the front entrance.The subway entrance leads to an underground shopping area where you can find a supermarket that sells beer and wine. We had booked several tours and the pick up point was at this hotel. Totally convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful

The room is a bit small and makes it a bit hard to move around for 2 person, more so to open the luggage needs a bit of skillful manoeuvring. Hotel staff at the check in counter wasn't too friendly but doesn't bother us too much. What I like is that it's near to the town square, convenient in terms of food and transportation while at the same time it's nice for the hotel to provide free snacks (breads) all day long and free coffee or tea. Overall it was a pretty decent stay if you're on a budget.
