“thought it was a bit pricey for the time of year. good location, not much traffic noise and since it was off season, not very many staying in the hotel. it could definitely use some upgrades, buckets in places to catch water leaks and it took FOREVER to get hot water running in the room, but the room was clean and comfortable.”

“Had a great stay. Very clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the location of our room next to the elevator and ice machine. Ice machine was very noisy. People getting off the elevator at 1:00 am.,talking very loudly. The loud guests are no reflection on Best Western or its staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“We have stayed at Silver Tree and it’s absolutely wonderful! However on this visit, we booked with Expedia. We were not aware that the room we booked was 1 of 2 rooms not owned by Silver Tree. It was another 3rd party Vacation rental. So, beware, that if you book with Expedia, the hotel will not service or have anything to do with these rooms. It is all done through Taylor Made vacation’s. They only give you 1 key, no parking pass, and if you need any additional supplies for the room...

“The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience.”

“Great little place in the country! We were in town for a WVU game and wanted a nice place to stay - great alternative to the hotels charging extremely high rates due to the game. Wish we had more time to spend and relax at the apt. Rooster on the property, so be ready for an early morning wake up call ;)”

“Grass was very high some places up to our knee. Mold on house and inside smell. Toilet didn’t work. Bathtub was filthy. We didn’t even stay the night we left. TV didn’t work. No check in communication with owner when we checked in the campground didn’t even know we was coming . Walls were dirty.”

“We decided to get away for a long weekend and this was the perfect place! Our kiddos had a blast, as did we! The cabin was in such a great location and our host was extremely helpful and communicative to our questions and needs! Highly recommend!”

“We stayed at this property for just one night, so my friends and I could go skiing for the weekend and hit the spa. We only stayed for one night and wish we could've stayed longer. The house was incredibly cozy, clean, well stocked, and just the PERFECT little cabin. It's the type of place you never want to leave. The owner communicated well and was super sweet to extend our check out time for a very fair fee. We are already plotting to come back this summer to enjoy swimming and water...

“Overall enjoyed the stay. Would recommend a king size bed in the upstairs master bedroom, a new bed in the main level master, and a bed be put in the basement bedroom instead of a futon. The water pressure for flushing toilets was not good and there was a sewage smell coming out of the hot tub drain. Parking was a little precarious and dangerous backing up and turning around on a hillside, also getting into the driveway was difficult even will 4wD we were spinning tires.”
