"This is a very nice hotel, great location! Short walk to the underground and numerous bus stops. The British Museum is a short walk. There is a really nice park across the street with a small cafe. So close to everything, a number of pubs (Friend at Hand, The Swan) both good. It is also within a 10 minute walk to a grocery store for those staying a little bit longer then a just week like we did. Even the train stations are a 15-20 minute walk. "Great location, amazing architecture, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. However please be prepared - windows do not open as it is a listed building. Wi-Fi issues. "

"I really enjoyed this hotel. No frills stay. Fresh coffee always available in the lounge. People say it’s a loud hotel. But really for an inner city London hotel it’s really not loud. Situated in a great area with awesome shops and cafes. The best bit of it all was the hotel staff. It’s a great hotel and we will return. "

It was nice that we had a kitchenette with sink, microwave, kettle & coffee machine. A iron & ironing board are available and a hairdryer if needed.
