"It is a motel in the middle of Hollywood, i was told it was the "Hollyhood" but i never once felt in danger. Even the weirdos are nice.
May-dee impressed me for the price i paid. Super clean, the bed hella confy, most of was you need for a week or 2 vacations.
Only "meh" thing might be most of the stuff there isn't THAT well maintained. (2 of the oven element didn't have support so could collapse under high heat and a little weight, drawer almost fell anytime i opened it, bath didn't have a...
"This is a two minute walk to the beach and close to all the popular restaurants in the area, walkable close! It’s also a walkable distance to a stop for the water taxi that can take you to and from Hollywood to Fort Lauderdale. They provide beach towels and chairs which is a nice plus, our room was clean but had some expected wear to it. Walls are a little thin could definitely hear our neighbors on both sides but wasn’t a huge issue as we weren’t spending much time in the room when you’re that...
"Showed up at the property today to check in and it’s been closed for a month for renovations. Property manager said they informed Expedia and no one let us know. We had 3 rooms between our group and no one got any notification. Had to find a new place to stay and considerable extra cost."
"My room was in need of painting and was rough around the edges, but it was clean , the ability to use 4 or 5 different pools very close to hotel, and easy to access was very cool. I was surprised pool was not at the property l booked but in the end it really did not matter. Super large room , pretty quiet , it was fair for the price , and you can see they are working at improving it ."
"Not bad. It’s a bed and four walls. Nothing stood out. There is a cat who lives in the office. His name is Maurice. He’s an old fella and he likes booty taps. "
