"We stayed at the Sofitel for 7 nights in June. The staff and butler team was very attentive to our needs and helped plan activities as well as offered general advice. The location is great within walking distance of everything but on the edge of the old city so at night it was pretty quiet so sleeping was a dream. We often staff is small boutique hotels but we need a big pool given the heat. The pool at the Santa Clara is wonderful, great for the days when you want a resort experience of laying by the pool in your cabana with drinks/good readily available. The sunset view from the terrace bar means you can take in all in without fighting the crowds any night you choose. I plan to come back and will recommend it to friends. "
