"I love the seclusion. It wasn't too far from anything but far enough from everything. A very cozy and welcoming cabin, easy communication with the owners, and clear directions for my stay. Would absolutely recommend for a quiet place away, but close enough to the mountain towns for activities. "

"The home was large, comfortable and very well equipped. Our family of 8 had a great time there. We cooked meals in the spacious kitchen, enjoyed walks through the neighborhood and open space, and loved watching the deer in all the yards. Jennifer, the owner, stopped by to welcome us and could not have been more hospitable! We skiied at Snowmass while there and the location was not too far but so quiet and peaceful for us. "We made a very last-minute booking (day before arrival) to visit this property for a couple of days over spring break. We had a pleasant stay, and really enjoyed the property. My wife grew up a few hundred yards from this property, down near the river. We had a great time reminiscing with her, and listening to stories. The house has an incredible view of Sopris and Carbondale. The house was equipped with everything we expected. We would certainly visit again if we're in the Carbondale area."

"Loved the cabin that’s been modernized. Host/owner is gracious and communicated well. Neighbor is unfriendly and does not like due to turkeys and foxes he is raising. Other neighbor we met was super sweet. VRBO distance estimate to Crested Butte is completely inaccurate, wrong and misleading. VRBO distance calculator said 25 minutes to Crested Butte… maybe by helicopter. Road from cabin to Crested Butte is closed in winter, and in summer, owner said that it’s still about an hour and thirty...
