This resort was absolutely beautiful and up to my standards. It was nice and always clean. When we checked in we even got an upgraded room for free of charge. We got our suite decorated every day. The food is amazing! Loved the variety of all sorts of food. Restaurants were so good too. Hospitality was great. People were easy to talk to. Bar was great with all their drinks and desserts that they offer. Overall experience was excellent! Definitely coming back one day again.

We are very pleased that we chose Riu Palace Peninsula. The property is spacious, beautiful, and very clean. The entire staff is amazing! Santiago and Vera made our dining experience exceptional! Marcos, Angie and Barbera made our day at the spa unforgettable! There are so many options to choose from. Relax on the beach or you can lounge or party at the pools. There was no wait at the buffets or restaurants. We highly recommend this property.

The rooms are up to date. The resort itself is very clean and well maintained. Four pools with very clear water, the beach is small but beautiful, and very swimmable. The buffet is great, but the restaurants suck. We tried the stake house, and two others, they were all bad! The service around the pool and by the beach was outstanding. The only thing that it lacked, it was the activities during the day. That was not what we expected. Too much of water acrobatics, every day the same thing. They can do better than that. Also they had karaoke night 6-8pm. That was the worst time, everyone was at dinner.

It was “Ok”. I wouldn’t go back. The food was average at best. Most of the restaurants had mainly buffets with limited menu items. The buffet items are very cheap quality. You had to pay a lot extra for decent wine. The restaurants were pretty dirty most of the time. The staff worked their butts off trying to do their best, but with the amount of guests they were trying to accommodate for it seems like it’s just always gonna be a little dirty. Room service options were disgusting. Sometimes if you ordered room service they would just “reject” your order if they were too busy. The pools were extremely warm… borderline hot tubs. That was very depressing. Lol. If you are looking for an affordable all inclusive option, and you don’t mind lower quality food and drinks go for it! The staff was very friendly, and they have fun shows outside just about every night. We did enjoy those. Unfortunately, this place just isn’t for us.
