"The manager Glen was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival, he not only spoke to my husband and myself, but also our children too. He showed us how to feed the donkeys and welcomed us back to feed them at any time. He was quick to reply to any messages with questions we had. There was a welcome package on arrival and the cabin was beautiful and clean with everything we needed (even stuff we didn't think of; glad wrap, paper towel etc). The place was immaculately kept. "This is a great place for a country stay with plenty of room, a lovely view and a comfy bed. If you enjoy a bit of animal/birdlife then you'll love this place. Cows and horses grazing in paddocks nearby, with bird feeders attracting a variety of local wildlife."

"We came from four different states. We were a range of ages from 8-73. The place was so well set up for our family. We celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and being a family. The children enjoyed playing cricket and footy with some of the adults. The Bush Mechanic DVD was a hit as we knew most of the actors. Board games were played with much laughter and a little manipulation. Food was eaten in abundance. We really appreciated the fruit bowl, different types of milk and breakfast...

"The rural sheep farm offered quiet, a modern cabin, excellent food dinner, a wonderful farm tour that included wallabies, echidnas, a sheepdog herding demonstration, and an up-close sheep shearing demonstration. The owner is gracious and informative in several languages. We spent 2 nights enjoying comfortable beds and the calls of many interesting birds and animals. Nearby we can also recommend the gin distillery tasting and hiking the 3 waterfalls at Mt. Field national park. "

"We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful Easter weekend in the school house. The bed and linens were comfortable and the classic lounge chairs a treat. My hubby would have enjoyed a small electric frying pan to cook his bacon and eggs in but aside from that the kitchenette had everything we needed. We had booked dinner at Antica Australis in Carcoar in advance, that was wonderful and we stopped on the way home to the school house to admire the stars away from ambient light."
