"It was the second time we rented the villa – and we hope to return. Everything in the villa is in perfect condition. The heated pool is perfect in January! Some distance to Mijas/beach, but we didn’t bother to rent a car since Uber/Bolt is so easy to use."

"My family decided to rent this villa over Christmas there were 13 of us, mostly adults but 2 young children and some younger adults, communication was great no issues, the villa location was just on the out side of town but a short ride to town by taxi, or there’s a bus, the villa was excellent maybe needing a freshen up but nothing major, the pool was cold but I suppose in summer months this isn’t an issue, all in all we had a great time and I would recommend this villa, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The communal pool which was opposite the villa had showers and toilts, the pool was huge with comfortable beds around it. Quite a few tiles had come away on the bottom of the pool in rhe shallow end, but apart from that it was a great addition to the holiday. 5 mins drive to the centre of town with 3 good sized public car parks. "On arrival the owners insisted on meeting us even though it was the early hours of the morning and this personal touch continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. If we wanted information about local amenities or friendly advice they were always available. The villa was exceptionally well maintained. "We stayed at Villa Romo for 10 days. The perfect place to get away and appreciate a slower pace and Spanish way of life. Carl & Maria were attentive throughout. Only snag was getting to the house on day one, as we were driving from Toledo. Managed to find the house before dark; a plus! The home is quite remote and it took us about 30 minutes to get there from the small town of Rio Gordo. (My advice is to buy groceries before you arrive.)
