"Pirate life! Spending a night on this boat was really unique. The bay is very peaceful, and the sunset/sunrise were impressive. For an adult of average height, the water is shallow enough to touch the bottom. Read the description before booking, because this is more rustic than getting a hotel room. As campers, this was right up our alley. The host left bug spray and drinking water on board for us. I suggest upgrading to the dinghy if you have familiarity with small water craft, it’s just faster...

"This was a very unique experience and one well worth doing! The host, Mark, was great at communication and setting expectations. I think he said it best when he mentioned that it was basically camping on a boat. I would highly recommend taking the option to rent the dinghy for transportation to and from the boat. This was a fantastic experience and one we will remember for the rest of our lives."

"My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay on the Bonne Vie (which means "Good Life" in French). It was the good life for us - he was able to fish off the back and I read books on the front of the boat. When it got too hot we could jump in the water to cool off! There are lots of great restaurants to try in Key Largo and we took a cooler of snacks for the boat. There are mosquitos in the evening - but we enjoy camping (and there are always mosquitos when camping) so a little bug spray did the...

"What a great place to relax! We really enjoyed our stay at this little getaway. It was perfectly situated between the Keys and Everglades. If you like to fish, there are tons of little fish to be caught off the dock. I really appreciated the kayaks and spent every morning fishing from them. The little house was very clean and well laid out. AC was extremely good at keeping us cool. We can't wait to make a return trip."

"After our last visit Summer 2023, we returned for 5 nights mid March. It was another incredible stay with all of the amazing accomodations. Pirate's Cove is the perfect get-away spot for us. We were able to fish right there and caught plenty of fish to cook up for our last night's dinner. We slept very comfortably; it felt like maybe the mattress was replaced/upgraded since last summer. Late night we enjoyed chilling in the living room, watching a little TV and having a slice of key lime pie...

"Beautiful home. Excellent amenities. Quiet. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away from it all. Pickleball court was a great surprise. We rented a kayak and paddle boards from a place in Islamarada. They delivered and picked up. Getting food was a bit of an expected challenge so plan accordingly. Would definitely rent again."

"Our family stayed here July 4th week for a fishing/beach trip. Location was great, and we rented the 21 foot boat as well for a few days. Condo was clean and just the right size for our family. Blackout shades were nice, and helped keep the temperature inside down. Used the kayaks one day, saw a manatee near the dock and a young alligator (crocodile?) in the mangroves."
