“I was very happy to find this good value for money hotel when I came to Maui for the first time. My room number is 301 located at the corner of the building and for two consecutive nights the strong wind outside kept knocking on my door so I couldn't sleep well all night. Walkable to many restaurants including Whalers village which is right next door. 2 drawbacks : shower temperature was off and hard to adjust, shower was cold for at least 5 min before becoming warm and a very loud noise was always present coming from the generators in whalers village. “We LOVED Hono Koa! So much so we didn’t want to leave. We are a family of five and two bedroom and two bathrooms were perfect for our family. “We were family of 6, all adults. Very nice view of the ocean. Really enjoyed watching the sea turtles. Easy walk to the beach. And easy drive to shopping and restaurants. Condo 103 C was spacious enough for all of us. Kitchen small but functional. Enough dishes, appliances worked well. It would be nice if we had a little bit of cleaning supplies specifically for the glass dinning table as gets finger prints on it very easily. ”
