"I really enjoyed my hotel stay. The room was very clean and the service was very good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was also located within walking distance to the french quarter and the convention center. The neighborhood was clean and felt safe. The pool bar seemed like a hot spot but I never got to check it out. I would recommend staying here. "

"I have loved the ACE Hotel for years. I’ve probably stayed there more than any other guest. I found out today it will no longer be the ACE. The Hyatt Group purchased the hotel. I read they would not alter the interior, just changing the name. Time will tell. I will say this.., the name Hyatt and the vibe the ACE has had over the years doesn’t mesh well with me. "This location was fantastic. Close enough to the Bourbon but far enough to be quiet. I also loved the fact you can walk everywhere and that Royal (lots of art) was so close. Jeanette at the front desk was a delight and made us feel at home. The hotel does have a strange smell that never goes away. We would consider staying here again. "
