"Good location close to the Minster. Room was on the main road side of the building, but we'll sound proofed. Some noise from the bar, but this is expected in a pub. Problem with loss of hot water pressure on the final morning was irritating, but these things happen. Clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. "

"Had a small issue with our room i spoke to the manager and within 5 mins we were in a new room. Very friendly star lovely rooms and the food and drink was spot on "

"We enjoyed our stay for one night. The room was clean but the bed and pillows were a bit lumpy! Bathroom was clean and adequate. Breakfast was very good and parking was easy at the back of the hotel. Would definitely visit again."

"Steps away from the idyllic River Ouse, this quaint and quiet B&B will not disappoint. Cleanliness in both private and public areas is top notch. Staff work cheerfully under the friendly manager dubbed the Queen Bee. Breakfast includes the traditional Those who have trouble with stairs should book the ground floor, those who can manage stairs be prepared for the narrow staircases and light sensors. They only come on only when you’re directly in the range of detection. "

"What a charming building. Beautifully maintained and decorated. The room was lovely, with a nice big bed and plenty of space for 3 of us. Breakfast was lovely. Home-made breads and butter and jams available. Very well run and organised. Would definitely be my go-to choice for my next visit to York."

"I stay here all the time. It is my go to place in Bridlington, because it is like coming home at the end of the evening and I feel like a member of the family. I cannot pretend it is luxury but if you aren't after 5 star it's great. Right by the sea and the theatre, a few restaurants close by and a 5 or 10 minute walk to the town. Breakfast is huge and I famously have never finished one. This place may not be to everybodys tastes, but I love it and them, especially Gus the dog."

"Catherine, the owner, was the perfect hostess with nothing being too much trouble. She even texted to make sure everything was OK and to ensure she was about when I arrived. The room was clean and well provisioned. Breakfast was a full English and cooked fresh. There was also a selection of cereals and fruits. The village is about a mile away and has a convenience store, pub and Indian restaurant."

"Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."

"The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
