Well-equipped kitchen
Above average vacation kitchen with nearly all the equipment most cooks could want: coffee grinder, blender, slow cooker, large assortment of utensils and kitchen tools, etc. Nice little sunny back deck for windy days. FWIW, the VRBO map location is a bit misleading in that we saw the cottage on the beach side of 101, but it is across the road. Beach access is just across 101 and a very short walk south where you will see a path to Yachats Ocean Rd. Very enjoyable and comfortable cottage!

Love this little town, and the house was perfect. I appreciate dog friendly, the shower was amazing.
Went to the art show, spent quite a bit of time at Neptune playing on the beach and the rocks, walked the 804, went to the Sunday market, hunted for agates. Did not want to leave.

Wouldn’t do it again
House was clean and orderly and comfortable with most things you would need. Fronts Hwy 101 on the East side so Hwy traffic noise is constant. Ocean view is minimal and short distance (a few blocks) to beach across highway. Pet and musty smells were prevalent. Absolutely no cell phone reception but wifi is available. Basic TV channels only. No sports channels or movie channels.

Charming cottage, clean, comfortable, attractive.
My spouse and I went for 5 days. We loved this place. The view of the ocean from the kitchen window is a plus, and it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the shore. Because it’s right on highway 101 it is noisy unless all windows are closed, but the tasteful furnishings are so clean and comfortable and cozy. We would stay there again.

The place is clean and well equipped. Everything was comfortable, the beds, the couch, the bathroom, everything. So easy to get to the beach and to the Hwy heading anywhere. If you are wanting to cook a gourmet meal, bring your own specialty equipment, the kitchen is stocked with basics.

Lovely home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. We could see the ocean from the kitchen table and the front deck. Cute little fenced in garden and sitting area in the back. Short walk or bikeride across the street into the neighborhood. Tide pools were amazing. Great seafood. Yachats is a cute little coastal town.

Great Gem in the Gem of the Coast
We LOVED staying at this little cottage. It was so clean and well stocked with anything you might need. We loved sitting at the table having coffee and looking at the waves. The front and back porch are both darling and the flowers around the yard are lovely. We loved the town of Yachats too!

Cozy Ocean View Rental
This was the perfect place for my family of four and our dog. The kids each got their own twin bed, and the backyard is completely fenced so our dog had a safe space to play outside. Dog toys are even provided! Everything was clean and well-maintained. I loved sipping my coffee on the deck every morning while watching the waves break. We would love to come back again.

Perfect get away
Clean and comfortable. Great kitchen that was well stocked with essentials and utensils. Our family(dogs included) loved it. It felt comfortable enough that we were sad to leave. If you’re thinking of booking this house just do it, you will not regret it. Only downside to some is no cell phone service, but it was actually great being out of touch for us.

Great stay at garden cottage by the sea
We had a great stay. The house was clean and well equipped beyond our expectations. The kitchen had everything we could want and more! The access to the sea is across the street. Access there is kind of rocky and hard for those with bad knees to get down to the sand but we found other access points. Our dog really enjoyed running on the beach and also the fenced backyard. We enjoyed the flowers and the decks both back and front. We went on a charter fishing out of Newport, visited the Aquarium in Newport and the visitor center in Waldport was interesting too with nice chatty volunteers and exhibits on the history of the area. A great place to stay to enjoy the area.

Wonderful house close to downtown Yachats
My husband and I have been going to Yachats annually for almost six years. This was our favorite place to stay! It’s a perfect distance from Yachats and the many beaches along the coast. The house itself is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need. There is also a wonderful front deck where you can watch the waves roll in. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay! The house was spotless! Very close to Thor's well as well as downtown Yachats. We even found a small trail to get to the rocky part of the beach. Such a lovely property - both the house and the garden (including bees, hummingbirds and bunnies that live in the front yard), we'd love to be back!

Amazing View!
Best part of this place is being able to watch the sun set on the coast from the dining room table. There was also a bunny living in the yard which the kids LOVED. It is right on the highway and to walk to town there is a short stretch that you have to walk along the highway (the rest of the way there is paths along the beach and over the bridge. The house feels really private and cozy though because it surrounded by such a beautiful yard. A few tips: a bunch of cars got their windows smashed and valuables stolen in the Devil’s Churn state park lot just South down the highway so be careful! And also we ate at Ona’s and I thought the food was blech and spendy. Gorgeous beaches and natural areas and fun attractions in every direction! The Sea Lion Caves near Florence and the aquarium in Newport were both fun outings.
