"The property was very nice, cozy and clean, the location was about 2-3 blocks south of what Vrbo said but it was still in a great location for our trip. breakfast every morning smelled great, unfortunately we were unable to enjoy it due to our schedule. Wine and cheese in the afternoons was a big plus! The only recommendation I might have is to provide a small space heater as our room fluctuated in temperature quite a bit. It only one vent it was not a huge issue at all but a space heater would...

"I always enjoy my stay at this location and the staff is wonderful! The breakfast is really good and I especially enjoy having a home made breakfast verses a breakfast bar! The concierge service was fantastic even with a last minute change and the room was stocked to my liking. Gary was one of my favorite servers with his kind attitude, and charm, just a perfect host."

"My daughter and I stayed at Summit Street Inn for a weekend of college touring and getting to know Winston Salem. This inn is beautiful and clean, conveniently located at the “end” of downtown. We felt safe and walked to dinner and other outings. The home is well maintained with a mix of old (original creeky floors) and new (bathrooms) and lovely gardens! We will be back!"

"We stayed in the Piedmont room!! We checked in late and had zero issues with the check in instructions. The room/suite was huge and was very beautiful! The bathroom was also a great size and had a tub and a shower. Loved the room and our stay was great!"

"This is a converted bed and breakfast from a 1917 Tudor style large home. Polly, the manager, was most gracious and engaging and oversaw a nightly happy hour. My room was quite spacious and tastefully decorated. I didn’t get a chance to have breakfast due to business commitments but I would definitely stay here again."

"The house was not in a good neighborhood. Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost."

"The property is beautiful. I went for a self-care long weekend on my own. The space is comfortable and perfect for a easy get away in nature. I spent more of my time sitting on the porch, than inside. The property is rural, but doesn't feel completely disconnected. Close to 2 great hiking parks. Laurel was attentive and had the place stocked with the necessities and then some."
